Only way I see them losing is if they start resting their players for significant stretches. They are on a different level from the rest of the league.
I don't think GS will make it to 70 wins. 65-69 wins is my guess. That said, their schedule is pretty soft up until late January, with only a few games against good teams. Unless they slack off and drop a game or two against a weak opponent, or get banged up...it's likely they make it all the way to late January with only 2 or 3 losses. Their schedule gets much tougher from late Jan until the end of the season, and that plus the long grind will bring them back down to earth. I also think their luck with avoiding injuries to key players will eventually run out. They'll eventually start resting players. They will face adversity, and I don't think they're as mentally tough as some of the all-time great teams throughout NBA history.
Man Kerr really has his team playing lights out this season. Look prepares and crisp every ga....oh wait Luke Walton is coaching them. When your best player is other worldly, coaching matters not as much.
He's still coaching the team, it's still his principles and he's still giving Luke advice even during halftime. Do you think they are 16-0 with Mark Jackson?

I'd be impressed if Cleveland can win without Lebron. Heck, I'd be impressed if the Rockets can win with Harden.
Hmmm, depends how close they are when they get to about game 55. If I'm a coach, I wouldn't want my team with the unnecessary mental pressure of getting to 73. You just know every game they played as they got closer to the record would have the feel and intensity of a playoff game and the media wouldn't shut up about it. It becomes less special of a record if they don't also win the tittle. And of course everything is moot if Curry gets injured.
This makes no sense to say from a guy who's Cleveland teams are lottery bound if he's not playing. I think someone is getting a little jealous, Mr. Best Player in the world. To be fair, I know his Cavaliers win with a healthy Kyrie.
Haha, nice one, i am not going to say GS will win 73 right now, but they surely look like an unbeatable team right now, wait until the all star break, then we will know, but i am a MJ fan,, so screw GS, i am rooting for every team to beat them:grin:
82-0 is realistically what they might finish the season with if they don't rest players and all goes well for them including no injuries.
We won 22 in a row and only had 55 wins. Even the Lakers with their 33 straight wins still ended up 4 short of 73. Golden State is playing some crazy good basketball but no way would I bet on them to win 73.
Bump. It's better to bump this thread so we can see who actually aren't bandwagoners and who are. I for one, voted yes from the start. But even then, I didn't think the Warriors would be sitting where they are right now. Crazy.
