S P A C I N G, or should I say spacing. It would lead to more contested shots as the shotclock winds down. Conversely, we would own the glass and be a nightmare to score on inside. Our rotations would be terrible and we would give up a lot of open perimeter shots - in particular to teams with stretch 4's. Maybe try it for the novelty factor but not because it's a clear roadmap to what ills us.
Isn't that what's happening now? Except we're getting murdered on the defensive glass. I've thought about this lineup and with Capelas foot work he can stay with most perimeter oriented forwards. I would absolutely try this lineup.
Harden already not driving enough. With Capela and Howard clogging the lanes, he'll just start bricking 3pters more often.
No spacing. Lanes and paint clogged up. Even more contested threes from the perimeter players and one big getting into the way of the other.
LOL @ this... CF in a nutshell. C'mon with this nonsense. We have spacing issues and defensive issues and we want to have Thornton and Harden holding down our backcourt D with 2 bigs that have a max range of 3ft?
