Rest Of Season: Pick My Worst WR On Squad... Really need me a waiver wire 4th RB in future weeks, should I drop Davante Adams OR John Brown OR Sammy Watkins OR Danny Amendola (Martavis + Odell are my fav two) I'm in 12-team half point PPR. We have 13-man rosters (9 active + 4 bench). ROS perspective, trying to decide who is worst receiver out of these SIX WR's, haha (so that I can get one of these listed waiver wire RB's). FYI: Was gonna pick up one of the RB's like Ellington OR whomever performs best on Lions in Week 11
I'm dealing with the same issue as far as who to drop. In your situation for me it would be between John Brown and Sammy Watkins. Brown hasn't been healthy in awhile, and has lost his starting spot. Also Sammy is in an offense that he won't see consistent targets. So It would be difficult to trust him going forward. I would lean slightly to drop John Brown especially considering Arizona's schedule gets pretty tough down the stretch.
Can anyone help me. I've got Tony Romo in my IR spot and I need to drop somebody in order to activate him. It's either going to be Michael Floyd or Danny Amendola. (My other receivers are AJ Green, Dez, and Randall Cobb, I made quite a few trades to get there). But I'm concerned about Amendolas role on a consistent basis. We don't do PPR or anything like that; sp it would only be yards and TD'S. Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thank you, Jeremy Hill. You finally paid off. Down 6 Me: Brady, Blount, Gostkowski Him: Gronk, Pats D
amedola is more valuable in PPR leagues. not so much in standard leagues. He'll catch a good amount of passes but ceiling isn't high for big plays or td's
Almost the same boat as you. Not sure how I feel about this. Me: Gronk, down 8 points Opponent: Gostkowski
I am trying to guage peoples opinions on something im contemplating doing. Will rep. I am currently in first in my major money league (standard yahoo) and im #1 on the waiver wires. im actually happy with my bench and rb depth but am considerring picking up Buck Allen and would like to see what others think. I have AP, gurley, and Mcfadden as my top 3. along with Hill and hyde as on my bench. So i dont really need him at all but it could be keeping a weapon from a competitor and added depth. My only person i would drop for him is either hyde or vernon davis. my WR core is only 4 deep and with marginal results so far so i dont want to drop any because of injuries (marshall,j.mathews,hilton,desean,). i put in a claim for him dropping davis but im not sure if i should go thru with it because my TE is gates and hes been battlng injuries. Any thoughts would be appreciated and repped. TIA
James white just saved my ass. I had to put him in the flex out of desperation this week. I ended up with the 2nd lowest point total of any team this week but that was 2 points more than my opponent. I'm now in sole possession of 1st place
Sounds like you need the TE depth and I don't think Buck Allen is going to be putting anyone over the top. Maybe if it was Rawls, but not Allen.
I was up by 4 points going into MNF with Gronk and Sammy Watkins going against Charles Clay. Had it in the bag, right? What a strange game. Sweated it out, but was finally rescued by a little GTP from Watkins.
There is good reason to believe that Lynch may be done for the year. He is suspected of needing surgery for a sports hernia.
Pick 2: Eddie Lacy vs CHI, Randall Cobb vs CHI, Mark Ingram@HOU and Pick 1: Brian Hoyer vs. NO, Andy Dalton vs. STL
Who should I start: James White vs Broncos (Amendola limited) Mark Ingram vs Texans (Improved run D by Houston) or Spencer Ware vs Bills (if West is out) I also have Jeremy Hill who helped me win my matchup last week but I can't trust him
I'd go with Ingram. He was listed as limited at practice today though due to a shoulder issue, so I'd look for an update on Friday.
