No, that's not what I mean. They're obviously media darlings, and I'm not saying they're an unlikable team. I'm talking about the league as a whole, and what the Warriors dominance over everybody else means for the NBA. To have one team basically running roughshod over everybody else makes the rest of the league dull. It lacks drama and suspense. I'm not sure that's a good thing for the league if it continues.
Sorry but thats not true. Its only the rs now and just the start too.. Who knows what happens in the playoffs in a spurs vs warriors 7 game series or vs cavs at full health.
I'm not saying Harden is playing particularly great at the moment but even when Curry has average nights other players step up. The supporting cast is nowhere near the caliber of Barnes, Thompson, Iguodala & Green. All elite defenders that are consistent offensive threats. I personally believe Khloe Kardashian is getting the blame that Morey should be receiving.
Its a question I wondered for a while...is the supporting cast of the GSW making curry look good or is the greatness of curry making his teammates look good. Actually for most of last year I felt it was the supporting cast's greatness rather than curry's, last playoffs and this season I am starting to feel otherwise
I think the GM deserves some credit for picking the players, but the coaching staff should get some credit for developing them to fit their system. Barnes and Thompson have steadily improved every year they've been in the league, especially defensively. Barnes made a leap last year playing a lot more 4 in their small ball lineups. Green was a second round pick. The scouting reports pre-draft talked about his all-around play, but I'm sure even the Warriors are surprised he's become an All-NBA level player. His rookie year, he was shooting 21% from 3, this year he's like 42%. That's a remarkable improvement. But yes, Warriors have superior talent all around. I mean they won 67 games last year, and they somehow got even better this year...
Anyone else have the Warriors vs Nuggets blacked out on Directv? I'm in Texas so their shouldn't be any territorial restrictions. I'm also a league pass subscriber. I tried both the Nuggets and Warriors feeds, as well as ESPN and they are blacked out also.
There aren't many Rockets fans interested in the NBA right now. I suspect a lot of us have been extremely productive during this current Rockets losing streak.
