    Traded or Fired.

It's Jones 100%. We come back to this when it happens.

Then if all fails. Rockets don't sign Dwight, Morey is let go. We get the ghost of Carroll Dawson............ trade our 1st pick (Ben Simmons) for Nicolas Batum.

I could very well see Ty Lawson on the blocks before the all-star break if he doesn't learn how to play with the Rockets. He has years as a boarder line all-star caliber point guard but just doesn't seem to fit. I don't know what his value around the league is though. I wonder if the Rockets would even be able to move him.

Being traded is different from being fired.

Harden could be gone if warriors offer Curry + Barnes. Every player has a price tag.

The fact is that the motivation WAS lost. Harden has said it himself, that he considers himself to be the best player in basketball; and he almost had the trophy to prove it, last year.

That should motivate you to play harder, to stand behind your words and try to take that trophy from Curry. But Harden has undeniably regressed this year, and it's painful to watch.

What works for one player may not work for another. Nobody but Harden knows what is going inside his head, and maybe even he is clueless on how to get to last year's level.
Have you seen how happy he was when Brewer hit that miracolous 3 the other day? And how decisive and motivated he was in overtime? So after all, he CAN do it, but not constantly. I'm sure he will find his groove. With help from teammates and fans, it could be sooner rather than later.

Why? You will get NOTHING for Lawson, and he can be off the books after this year, if Morey desires. We gain nothing from moving him, unless he's a locker room cancer. However, since we know Harden & Lawson are friends, moving him prematurely would likely:

    A) Add no value to the team &
    B) Piss off the superstar

I love TJ, but he doesn't add much value in terms of defense and rebounding, especially when Howard is out and Capela is in. TJ + Brewer for a guy like Nene or T-Young makes too much sense, especially with a solid wing defender in KJ on the bench. Nene, in particular, would be IDEAL: 1) Much needed Vet presence, 2) decent mid-range shot, 3) decent post defense, 4) contract that comes off books in Offseason.
