I keep saying he is like a 7'3 version of AK47 with a better jumper.

Good comparison. I said Rasheed, but Andrei may be a better one.

A coordinated 7'3 dude with a good wingspan that can dribble, pass, rebound, block, and shoot.

How exactly did he fall to 4? This guy is freaking stud. Can't believe the Knicks got a pick right.

    Because.

    1. Towns is a 2 way prospect.

    2. Buss family happened

    3. Okafor is a transcendental offensive talent playing with a D-League roster. Literally 1 other starter in Noel.

The fact that you compared him with Dream after playing like 10 NBA games suggested how good he really is.

Because Porzingis was a bigger risk than any of the top three.

Legit, going to be special if he avoids the foot problems that those tall lanky players tend to get.

Not even mad, Knicks fans have been through the dumps and deserve something to be hopeful for.

The good thing about him is he plays with no fear. Not timid at all. He says he likes pressure. I think the Knicks got it right.

I keep saying he is a young Sabonis without the passing skills.

    Rookie season:

    Anthony Davis 28.8mpg, 13.5/8.2/1.8
    Kristaps Porzingis 26.1mpg, 13.2/8.8/1.5

Seems pretty close. I think Porzingis is just getting into the groove too. His shooting is better and better with each game. I wouldn't be surprised if at the end of his rookie season he had averages of 16/10/2

I like this comparison better than Yao/Dirk. If you watch some tape of Sabonis from before 1986 they are like mirrors of each other on the court (except the passing, and well maybe Sabonis had a bigger frame).

Just going through frist 10 minutes of the game I found three timestamps of highlights that I can fully imagine KP doing. I'm sure you could find even more if you went through the whole game.

Props to Phil. Mediocre-Subpar playing career and a certified beast everything else in the league. He's doing the complete opposite compared to Jordan, Isiah, etc.

Porzingis looks like a MUCH more athletic Yao. More agile, more hops, and better coordinated along with the elite shooting. Scary

Now he needs a coach to come in and force him to bang down low and grind him up!

Haven't been watching Knicks game intently - just only catching highlights on youtube.

How's Porzingis' post game? Already better than Davis', or?
