Still gave up 107 points. Defense is not where it needs to be.

Money has got to switch something up. Having a play would be nice.

I agree. In a way, this disastrous season could be a blessing in disguise. It'll make Dwight wanna sign someplace else and it'll force the Rockets into thinking long-term which means not locking up 22-30 mil in capspace on a guy who already has to miss 20 games a season and will likely be broken down within another couple years at the rate he's going.

Like I said, if these losses continue to pile up, move on. Get rid of Dwight and insert Capela into the starting lineup on a permanent basis. Then spend that money on other areas of need which God knows this team has a ton of right now.

Philly almost won vs miami. If the rockets lose vs them then we should start the trades asap.

Asik was solid that year(defensively anyway), but you cannot tell me that team was more talented than this one.

sometimes you can play great defence but the other team hits hard shots

We did not play great defense. Part of playing defense is grabbing the rebound off of the miss. The Rockets failed to do that almost every time in the latter half of the 4th quarter. That's what lost them the game.

Man, that Porzingas is a weapon.

I thought Harden tried on D, and had a decent all-around game, up until he made a couple bad decisions late to seal our fate.

we gotta change our starting roster at C, PF and PG. And yes, there I said it. I'm kinda done with Dwight at this point. He's still a very good rebounder and a decent defender although definitely regressed from his peak days), I can't stand his close to zero offensive production and sitting out on B2B games. What is he earning like 18 million a year? **** that. Keep Ariza, Harden and rest can go as far as I'm concerned.

Man we need DMO... DMO isn't a big rebounder but he could box out which lets guards and TJ get rebounds.

TJ had to get one rebound and the game was over.. couldn't do it... COULDN'T DO IT!!!

We are going to be extremely mediocre until we make the effort to make Lawson comfortable, our second best player. Let the painful process begin now, Terry isn't helping.

I agree we need DMO but how long will it take for him to return to form when he does come back??

it's a talent problem. that's my biggest gripe over firing mchale. it delays a trade the rockets needed to make yesterday. get that glue guy first, just to make the playoffs. then worry about a championship roster at the trade deadline if they're still in the running.

I've said it elsewhere, but it is what it is...

Last year the Rockets found ways to win. This year the Rockets find ways to lose.

Playoffs are nearly out of the question at this point. What a sad season this has been.

    Why?

Houston already gave Brooklyn their first win.

Houston already has had a 3 game losing streak, 4 game losing streak and are working on another one. Currently at 2

Houston isn't a very good team.

And due to signings/re-signings, half of these guys can't be traded until December/January.

yeah, d-mo might need a season until he's back to pre-injury condition/form. back surgery is serious business.

I would definitely rather lose with Lawson ****ing up out there than on the bench that's for sure.
