Are we even going to make the playoffs?

 

I knew that missed Ariza free throw would be the difference maker.

 

Once Capela got in to foul trouble we were in trouble

 

James still not in shape, his jumper look no lift, step back was his best weapon, but he barely use it.

 

Dwight gonna get plenty of rest when the playoffs start at this rate.

 

New season starts in 3 days

 

The worst part is that Harden actually had a stellar game and we still lost.

 

But that Rockets team with Lin, Harden, and Parsons won 45 games. They made the playoffs. And I'd argue they were less talented than this group even without Dwight and D-Mo. Something is not right with this bunch. There's gotta be something going on in that locker room we don't know about. How do you go from last year to this?

He did play better.

 

This is the PERFECT summation. We don't have talent. We actually would have a nice 3 but Lawson turned out to be a complete bust so far. Better to just release him after this year- if you would have asked any one of us if we would take Ty Lawson from the Nuggets for nothing, every single one of us would have of course said yes.

That and the injuries, and it's not surprising at all we're 5-9. With a normal Lawson, we're probably at least 7-7. With no injuries, we probably have a winning record. Face it, what this team lacks is talent.

 

One of the best looking rookies I've seen in a long time.

 

In JB's defense, if he HAS to choose a game to rest Dwight, this was the one. Paps stretches the floor, something Dwight doesn't defend well, and it's a non-Conference, non-Division game. Memphis is a very good rebounding team - we needed Dwight, but just didn't play with the same effort.

Even with a healthy DMo, if Dwight's going to sit out B2Bs, we NEED a big rebounder at the 4 or 5. Defense was good for most of the game, offense was excellent until the last 2 plays, but the rebounding KILLED us. I would be all for a TJ/Thad Young straight-up swap.

Good signs overall, yet extremely infuriating and frustrating. Can't catch a damn break.

 

Kept trading baskets and couldn't put together defensive stops. Still don't box out well.

 

at least the rockets played better. also good to see crystal taps perform, he's an exciting player.

 

Now we have to sit and stew for 3 days... Rockets sucking is making me ignore my favorite sport!

I've watched 10 episodes of Marvel's Jessica Jones because I'm Ignoring basketball!!

TEN EPISODES! An HOUR EACH EPISODE!

 

if things dont change, and quickly,,, then no.

 

Don't forget Asik. He was a rock on defense and played the whole season.

 

I thought they played pretty well this game. The Knicks are a pretty good team this year.
