Once yo go healthy Dwight, you never comeback. This team is one thing with him, and another without, and the reason is he is a great Center in this league. The idea that Capela will be as good is wishful thinking, and the idea that we should trade him is flat out wrong.
Having said that, if I was a fan that went to the games, and paid big money to see the Rockets, the fact that there would be no guarantee to see him play would piss me off because he could play all 82 games if his life depended on it, fact is it doesn´t and big picture is Championship is all that matters.

"...so he will play one of the two games, I’m sure we will play him both.”

    Wait, what?

    Paging Rodman!

If not, can anyone photoshop this for Dwight?

I highly disagree with him playing back to back. Capela is of course a drop off compared to Dwight, but it is not worth Dwight not being ready and fresh to dominate during the playoffs.

I know he could but that is not the issue. Capela seems to get better with every game, and though they have not shown it lately our depth should lead to starters getting more rest.

He has to play in both games, we need the flow of our offense and defense in rythym. Your franchise center sitting out back to backs just isn't working. Sure you want him healthy but what are the odds he gets injured in a game where they've been off 4 days.

I ain't holding my breath. Especially with Cousins out. The temptation will be too great to sit him and save him for the Clippers. What's sad is last season I wouldn't have been sweating that scenario given how well the rest of the team was playing. This season(so far at least), not so much.

That wouldn't be a huge problem is there was more movement on the offense.

D12 wants to preserve his body for the next big contract, but he can't be seen as non durable by only playing in 60% of the season games. A fine line for him and his next big contract.

Over $22 million per year for a guy you can't even rely on to play in back to back games, smh. Thanks Maury.

As I stated, these seemingly pre-determined missed number of games is worrisome. We are not the Spurs because they have a system where guys play like robots; so Pops can give the day to their geriatric players.

This offseason will be really interesting irt to D12's option.

This better be serious enough to be costing us games. If we lose tonight, that's probably 3 wins turned losses because he was out.

Dwight will get plenty of rest when we're not in the playoffs because of games like this.

I don't understand the doctors logic on resting him now vs. resting him when the Rockets have a healthy front court when D-Mo comes back. This is on of the dumbest strategies I've seen. Terrible.
