Every time Lin has taken the role of backup PG and played with the 2nd unit, the 2nd unit of that team ranks in the top-5 in the NBA for that season. Pretty good role player IMHO...

That is correct. Pringles was fantastic in Game 7 vs. the Clippers. It was a great change having a PG that actually helps your team win a playoff series instead of losing it for you.
Yes lin was traded because the intense pressure of the playoffs showed he was a horrible point guard who costs a team who the next year went to the conference finals, a playoff series.
If lin plays with himself and no teammates he could score 100 points and have a stadium full of lin fans watch him do it. Lin fans then don't have to pretend they care about any team, google translate, or pretend you are a 60 year old astros fan to impersonate a person from the city.
