lin playing well so far, not as much turnovers, more consistent overall. You guys should have kept him when you had the chance. When he was at houston, he pretty much just started playing in the NBA, ie his 1st and 2nd full years playing against actual NBA level talent. Crazy thing is he managed to save the rockets twice in their playoff series against the blazers even though it was his FIRST real year as an nba player. Lin is now in his 3rd year, doesn't take as much risks as he used to, plays smart, plays better defense and still creates offense. Most of all he doesn't have any baggage that he used to with a poison pill 15 mill per year contract as a rookie. He was probably at war with himself for not living up to expectations and also his team mates were pissed that a rookie was getting so much. Now hes lost all that and started at where he really should have, working from the bottom and going up.
Something the Rockets did more than anyone after Linsanity. Parsons did just fine with Harden and McHale.
Agreed. Parsons and Lin did well under McHale. Lin sacrificed the strength of his game for Harden, but overall performed better than any other PG that has played along side Harden.
Bev is the ideal pg for harden and his hero ball style. Lin was not bad comparing to lawson and it shows how guys like tinman who trashes lin bc of the lofs has zero understanding on how lin was able to accept whatever role he was ask to do while he was a rocket. Harden now have the keys to the team to do whatever he wants and no coach will be able to tell him to play team offense and to play defense.

It was a great decision by the Rockets. They have had much better PG performance since Lin left the team.
