no, i didn't see the rockets coming back from an 0-3 start and beat the spurs.

and all i see from the 0-3 start is a 5-5 record.

 

I agree on the number of games left, just been a lot more frustrating with the lack of chemistry and effort, I hope you're right though. I'd definitely rather have a good team when it matters, so if they're clicking by playoffs then that's all that matters, just gotta get there.

you're crazy, Dwight is not the problem. They went completely away from the big fella after the 1st half. Shots are not falling and defensive effort is not completely there yet.

Rockets look like they were out of the funk after getting back to .500 and beating some tough teams.

 

PNR is not being as nearly as effective because of the 3pt shooting

Yeah I gotcha (know you meant OKC), but **** man it's like the team had a lobotomy and doesn't communicate so more frustrating for me than normal. But you're right if team starts hitting shots could help with everything, and there's plenty of bball left to correct this.

 

It'd be interesting to see how much more we would have lost by if we kept going to howard. He just looked so indecisive. He just can't get many good shots. Too slow, Too many dribbles, not enough range. He can draw fouls but you're lucky if you come away with any points when he goes to the line.

Lawson is Lance Stephenson 2.0

Howard and Ariza trying hard

Jones all of the sudden can only make 3s

JET old/can't handle the ball

Thornton/Brewer/Harrell all suck

I've always said, if he doesn't have 8 assists or 12 FGA he isn't doing what we brought him here to do. The fact that he's been benched in favor of Terry who's basically already retired at this point is just sad. 16 min? He's been an utter failure this year.

 

lawson made some nice plays tonite setting up open 3's, but the shooters couldn't drain them. lawson's shot is crap right now too, and he can't stay in front of anyone on D

 

And the absolute last thing we need right now is another front court player who bricks shots and cant stay in front of his man. He needs to ride the bench for a while. I'm missing Bev so much right now.

 

Atleast we still have the Texans in the playoff hunt.

 

Rockets need to change the offensive gameplan

This shot 3's and hope the averages correct themselves is digging them an early grave so far

Start Lawson and have harden play off ball with more cutting to distract the defense

Have Jones set a pick for Dwight to get on a 4 man and pin him under the basket for somme quick points

Bench Brewer and let KJ get his minutes

Run PNR with Lawson/Dwight with ariza and Harden on both sides

Run the High Low with Jones and Dwight ( might as well try something new)

 

morey should be fired. chemistry does matter.

 

We don't have anybody on this roster who can rebound like Howard or alter shots like him. When he contest those layups, the rest of our guys needs to attack the boards. I am not saying pound the ball into the paint but keep him involve with the PnR and back screens away from the initial play. Find ways to keep him engaged on offense is what I'm saying. As we can see Moreyball isn't working right now, so how about we go back to a standard type offense until it starts clicking.

We can't make wide open 3's, nor layups, not midrange? Is that Dwight fault? We T.O. over the ball way to much on the back court, is that Dwight fault?

Exactly all this^^^^ scrape the Moreyball for right now and run these type of plays. Once we get into a rhythm and build up some confidence, then we can go back to the Moreyball offense.

 

Please stop with the start Lawson crap. He's had plenty of opportunities and he's a defensive sieve. Putting him next to a poor defender in Harden along with Jones being a poor defender as well does not make the team better.

 

And starting Terry will help with????

You gotta try to make this work between Harden and Lawson

Ive been critical of Lawson but im revising my opinion.

You need to get those to work together as the payoff will be deadly, You cant give up on it right now.

 

I prefer Beverley but Terry is the better option over Lawson whose playing much worst on both ends of the court.
