Lol at this kind of comments....

Nobody can change team dynamics in 2 days, nor 1 week. It's gonna take some time... If people can't be patient enough, better dont watch the games.

Some of you McHale haters are going to look at that WCF appearance some day and see the real story...the story of a team playing without 2 starters, the story of a team that built a great chemistry in spite of multiple roster additions during the season, the story of a team that made one of the most inspired come backs in NBA playoff history.

Yep, fire any coach that does that, you bet.

Our defense has improved, our offense hasn't. It's worse, if anything.

    Pretty much.

But it should be noted that they have not even had practice according to Bull. Yesterday was a travel day and unfortunately tomorrow is as well and they play the Knicks.

Eventually this team is going to rise or continue to sink. The good thing about this is we will see what our guys are made of.

I know it takes a whole season to really implement a new system, but it doesn't take but a timeout to create some new plays that work that they can run over and over and over and over until the other team learns how to stop it. I.E. Harden in the post.

Also, teach some BASIC fundamental PnR during the shootaround before a game. Run it over and over and over and over and over again so that the team knows what to do and what not to do. Harden/Lawson with Dwight/Capela pick and roll all game long with the other three players moving off ball setting screens for each other and looking for easy cuts to the basket.

These are simple things that could work to be better than our 5 points and no FGs made all the way to 3:47 seconds left in the 4th quarter.

IT'S NOT ROCKET SCIENCE!!! (pun intended)

Yeah that's why I'm not judging Bickerstaff yet. If offense is just as bad after a couple of weeks though I will quickly form the opinion that we need an outside coach with a different philosophy.

We need a new coach. It doesn't matter if JB can coach or not. He is still a leftover from the McHale coaching staff/philosophy. We just need to go in a new direction ASAP! We can't fire(trade) most players until December, so may as well start the coaching change now. It doesn't matter if they can't implement a new system, just an attitude change will do WONDERS for this team.

Come on guys, Bickerstaff hasn't really had a chance to do anything yet. He's only really gotten the team to play a bit more inspired defense. Nothing has changed on offense except the ball hasn't been flowing through the offense well.

Harden is bringing the ball up with a bit more urgency but he's definitely one of the bigger reasons why the offense stinks. Just him playing better won't change the Rocket's scoring. Even if we don't run 15 plays for Dwight Howard on offense we still need to keep the bigs honest by giving Howard the ball more often than we do currently.

We can't depend on Ariza to contribute as the second major offensive weapon.. Lawson has got to be aggressive, Harden needs to play off the ball more and Jones needs to stay healthy. Hopefully Dmo comes back quick, we could use his dependable offense..

Give it a week and if we keep seeing the same results, then expect the Rockets in search for a new coach. This team is a mess.

I tend to agree, but I still want to give him a few weeks, remember Rudy T.

It doesn't take much to do but it does take time and practice to actually execute it with those players.

I agree when we had those droughts we should have went to Harden in the post or the Coach should have just flat out told Harden to attack and try to get to the line or something. Don't let it get out of hand.

But he's a young coach and with anything it's not about how you fail but how you bounce back from that failure. He already did something we haven't seen in throwing KJ out there and it worked and would have got us back into the game had we been able to make anything.

The weirdest thing about these last 6 games is that we litterly look like one of the 5 worst teams in the league. A team with harden should never play this bad let alone having Howard ariza Lawson among others.

I can't pin point one thing that's wrong because it really just seems like this is unexplainable. I know we want to piknt out defenes of 3s but I have never seen a team miss this many shots 3 games straight I mean we're shooting low 30s.

    This is the NBA right?

Playing Corey Brewer is a fireable offense.

Brewer easily had the worst +/- on the team: -23
    KJ McDaniels? +15

Who the hell wants Bickerstaff, hired and trained by the incompetent McHale?

We might as well call him McHale Jr.

People here saying give him time, he's only been coach for a week...

Uhm no, he's been with the team for years and had big input. It was naive to think an existing member of the coaching staff would completely turn things around, he's had an imprint on the team for a long time (otherwise he shouldn't be on the payroll) and won't change the system and mentality nearly as much as a new coach and staff would. McHale took the blame and was fired, keeping the staff and installing the next in line shows how senseless the firing was.

The Bickerstaff is the associate head coach that help lead the team in their dismal non-efforts. He is a part of the problem and now you gave him a promotion?

    We need a fresh voice!

We still have his assistants. People who wanted Mchale gone wanted a new coach at this point this is common sense, yet you still have idiots saying it wasn't the coach as if we have Thibs or Adelman or Van Gundy running the team now. No we have Mchale's protege, lol.
