lol Now you're just reaching to make your point. If we go with what you're saying, no one is really injured unless we witness the injury live on TV and can see blood on their uniforms.
Dent will be missed on special teams. I hope Polk is ready and plays. It will mean less playing time for Blue.
Did I say that? I said I use their practice patterns to determine when players "come back" from an injury... one that has them missing or being knocked out of a previous game. The original premise was determining when Hoyer was "coming back". Earlier in the season, we were trying to determine if Duane Brown was coming back. Kareem Jackson isn't coming back. Practice on Wednesday is typically the most important factor. Deandre played 100% of the team snaps the last game. He wasn't on any post-game injury reports, and no mention of anything in the BOB press conference, AND he's shown no hesitation in saying he's playing on Sunday. Also, is this the first time you've seen late season mysterious phantom injuries that were nowhere to be seen in the game?
They just released word today that Hoyer will not be playing sunday why not release this like 2 days ago could be BOB trying his hardest to get Hoyer to play
keep rolling your eyes buddy with a concussion, you can't just assume someone will be ready/not ready on a certain day. That's like saying, "it's rush hour. I'm not sure how long it'll take to get home." Then 30 mins later "hey I'll be home in 15 mins." "Why didn't you just tell me 45 mins in the first place???? Must be BOB"
No reason to do this, until they were forced to in the injury report. Better that the jets waste time on a gameplan that assumes Hoyer starts.
Questionable ability to control the football? Questionable pass blocking? Not saying he suffers from those issues for sure, but usually when a RB with speed doesn't get that much playing time, those are the two most common issues.
Get ready for the Bill OBrien carousel!!!!!!! Q1- Yates Q2- Weeden Q3- Weeden Q4- Yates Overtime- \_(ツ)_/¯
i'll take a 6 to 3 victory right now. just when you're beginning to warm up to hoyer, he goes out there and concusses himself. SSMH
Texans going to put up 24 points. It will be a hard fought battle, but the team with the most points will probably win the game.
If the Texans win then the Jets lose but heres the kicker, if the Jets lose then the Texans still win.
Assume the Jets number of points scored = x and the points scored by the Texans = y. The record of the Texans is currently n-p, with the wins reflected by n and the losses by p. Then we can model the results of the game as follows: If y < x, then the result of the game is a loss, and the Texans new record is n-(p+1). If y > x, our model tells us the opposite occurs, and the Texans receive a "win." This will be reflected in a new record of (n+1)-p. There is an additional scenario where y=x. In such a situation, there is an "overtime" period where the model is rerun and we must goto the beginning. If at the end of the "overtime" model run, y still = x, then we will need to insert an additional variable z to reflect a "tie." I simply don't have the time right now to build such a complicated model.
