JB reminds me of Spo, he's young and hungry. He has a lot of energy, he takes time outs when he sees players slacking and he gets on them. That's what this team needs right now, for players to take accountability and show it instead of just saying, "we need to try harder". Spo wasn't afraid to call out D.Wade and Bron for missing defensive assignments, it even got them into arguments but in the end, I think the players appreciate it because they are the coach.
I just had a conversation with Clutch QT about his mannerisms on the sidelines. That was one of the biggest issues I had with McHale (along with the x's and o's of course) but yeah this guys body language was horrible and uninspiring. *Clap clap, "lets get some juice guys, we gotta play better D" Yeah no **** captain obvious but how are you gonna make this happen!!!
I really liked JB putting in Ariza instead of Lawson when Jet picked up his 5th foul. Went with the better defender on Lillard and kept our flow running with Harden at PG, Honestly what does a 40 year old Jason Terry do that Brewer, Ariza, or Thornton can't.. something Mchale always failed to see when the situation called for it.
I like JB, but let's not get excited about beating a team on a 6 game losing streak on a miracle shot that sent the game into OT.
OP is saying Bickerstaff is better because he looks cool? I think that's not the best way to think about basketball.
He did that in the Lakers-Dallas series to Pau when Pau was sulking about some player ****ing his wife or girlfriend.
No, I think OP's saying if you look at the coach's gestures, you can tell if they're a good coach or not. . . . It seems crazy, but he must have a reason for saying so. Link maybe? OP, what do you mean about looking at coaches' photos?
