Yeah, I'm embarrassed by my vote. Can't figure out what's up with this guy. Way too tentative, gets wide open threes he won't take, isn't finding guys in the right spots, etc. He's honestly doing nothing that an all-star, or borderline all-star, does for their team. Shocking so far. Gotta think it can only get better from here.
Wrong. If Ty Lawson was playing the kind of offense he has throughout his career, this topic wouldn't be getting bumped. It's the absolutely atrocious play by Lawson that makes you that voted no want to come in here and gloat. As I said above, I'm a bit embarrassed by my vote and will own up to it, but he is undoubtedly better than this. Right now, he's playing like a top 45 PG. Ty Lawson at his best is undoubtedly a top 20-15 PG. But will the Rockets ever get his best? I don't know the answer to that at this point.

Ty doesn't need to come off the bench, he needs to be aggressive. Pretty much every offensive problem we have would be solved if we would just ****ing be aggressive, Jesus. He's playing scared, the only time he shoots is when the clock is winding down and he forces something up, or occasionally he'll fling up a halfhearted drive. Who is this guy? This guy reminds me of Lance Stephenson's dropoff.
Its like those stupid Cliff Paul commercials. We ended up with Sy Lawson, who doesn't drink and works in accounts payable.
Say whatever you want about him, but at least he's [seemingly] taking his demotion well and being professional about it. It's definitely worth a shot to try to get his game back on track. Top ten PG or not, we all know he's a much better player than what he's showed us so far. This situation is still very much salvageable.
Who cares about the offense. Ty will eventually get it going but all it does is mask the bigger issue which is the defense.
Guys, seriously.. Give the guy a break. He hasn't played well but it's an entirely James Harden dominant offensive system in Houston. And James likes it up top where he can decide what to do (or now in the post). Ty will get better (maybe not as good as in Dallas) but he's trying to fit into a team with Harden trying to be the alpha and Dwight complaining about our defensive rotations. It's tough for Ty here but once he gets into a groove even if it's just ten points and four assists off the bench, we will be deadly. Look at LeMarcus in SA... He's still searching and shooting at a really low percentage
If terry is starting over Ty now, wonder what will happen when Bev is back fit. Currently, Morey's move on making Ty's contract to only one year is looking very good at the moment. However, I am still hoping that Ty can turn it around
He seems too apathetic. He should have come out tonight feeling disrespected and wanting to prove that he deserves the starting spot. Remember what TJones did in Denver? I wanted to see that from Ty, but he was as apathetic as ever, I don't remember him making a single aggressive move all night. He won't get it going if he isn't aggressive. He will be Lance Stephenson from last year 2.0. His issues on defense are the same as everyone else's: effort.
