I seem to remember the offense clicking quite beautifully when a certain someone was down low destroying peeps last season... Get well soon big guy.
Harden said he was going to get a post game last summer, but rarely ever saw it during the season last year. Wonder if it will stick.
Some off ball screens and back cuts would be fantastic to free up shooters and cause misdirection while harden, Lawson, or Beverley handle the ball would be great to.
what's really strange is that aminu had a lot of success guarding harden in the dallas series. no idea why stotts stuck with crabbe on harden till the very end
It's great and smart move for this game! But can't depends on it for every game! Need develop more offense strategy and most important is get Ty fit in to the system!
I don't think Harden in the post is something that will work against most teams. The Blazers wings are either either their two undersized starters, the too slow Aminu, or the not strong enough Mr. Krabbs. Most teams, unlike the Blazers, have a wing who has the physical capabilities to make Harden post ups a less than efficient option. I seem to remember past attempts by Harden to post up leading to turnovers and Harden failing at drawing fouls. Please remember folks, the Blazers are a really bad team. I am glad we won, but the Rockets played awful tonight, and were lucky to beat even a team as bad as the Blazers.
Well when you finally started to make some 3s, the spacing will always be there, otherwise just like in the Boston game, the opposite team will pack the paint. And James have to make that mid range to demand respect in order to get to the paint.
Having something solid to go to in a half court set like that really shows how they need dmo back. Havent given any of these teams a good reason to double anyone. Force mismatches. Harden was good, he learned more about what his defender was going to do each post up and took it to his next one. should open up the 3's a ton.
