Specifically which adjustments are you referring to?

 

This was the -after coach fired so we put extra effort- game. Don't make a lot of conclusions on the coach based on on that. We will judge in the next 5 games when the injection of extra motivation starts to wear off.

 

Do you normally **** on everything anyone says or are you just in a pissy mood?

 

So do the Kings want to give us Rondo?

 

Don't forget DH with 19 boards (5 off). He was huge down the stretch making FTs and tipping the ball to the right people.

Need Harden to score 40pts to win in O.T. vs a team in a 6 game losing streak.

The only difference was them playing Hard defensibly and that's have more to do with Les sending a message he don't going to tolerate any more lazy play.

 

Putting Harden in the post was a great move, but to me, the biggest adjustment I saw that really changed the game was the way they defended the pick and roll. No more switching, no more standing around watching it happen... they attacked the ball handler, and that lead to some really tough shots.

They ended up out of position, which allowed the handler to squeeze through every once in a while, but as they practice it, I can see that really changing this team defensively.

 

Solid point - worth noting.

 

1. lets see if game 2 they show the same intensity. Players always play hard after a firing.

2. Less Harden iso to begin, yet they couldn't make a shot until Harden went ISO in the post down the stretch.

4. All those timely timeouts and JB had no timeouts for the last play of the game. Harden had to take the ball from full court and find Brew for a running prayer.

Whats the implication here? That JB implemented a scheme in the last 8 hours that Mchale could not comprehend?

Another solid point although they need to learn to get better at switching on PnR action if they want a chance against golden state.

 

Agreed that you have to send a message to a team that is not responding. My point in my entire tirade here is that this on the players, not McHale.

A combination of Brewer's horrific shooting season and DMo's abscene are the two reasons why McHale is out of a job.

 

Liking Coach JB with a horse voice. Man was into the game.

 

This is the effort game after the owner made threats on everyone.

 

But kids always want simple answers and think No McHale is the solution to all our problems.

When Harden plays like this. It makes it easier for everyone to get open looks. Loved seeing Harden get to the post and make shots. It was way more effective than the 3s he misses. When Harden is double teamed by Howard's man that tells you something.
