Rubio would be awful with Harden. He wouldn't get the touches he needs. It would be different if Harden knew how to play without the ball

Covington is in the Hinkie special of 1 per for 3 more years. That makes his market value very very high.(compared to his ability). Also he can't play defence still.
That would be a scary move for both teams. I suspect that Harden-Melo wouldn't work too well without a strong KG / Billups type leader next to them, kind of similar personalities, I think they might enable each other's bad habbits.

The best chance that the Rockets can pull trade for Harden is with the Kings, because of their dumb ass owner. If Harden is going to keep sucking in this town, getting him exchanged for Cousins (maybe even able to get a young player like Mclemore) is not a bad deal, although I also don't believe Cousins is a good franchise player you can rely on. Otherwise, its very hard to get good value return from this current Harden.
Trade James Harden? Have you seen what this man can do when he's on? Harden is very elite at scoring when at his best, which is just impossibly to come by in the NBA for the most part, and the teams that do have players with those skills aren't trading them. Harden just needs to be humbled and change his playing style somehow/someway. Harden is like that lvl 70 Charizard that is flashy and badass, but you can't control it yet because you haven't gotten the CascadeBadge and earned his respect, so he just keeps doing random, dumb **** on his own.

Both are damaged goods, if he is not going to work out in Houston, Morey will just try to get as much as he can in return. So do you still believe Harden should be the MVP and GSW should trade you both Curry and Thompson for him?
Just several days ago, Cousins ran into the locker room and dropping F-bombs and almost want to kick his coach's ass in front of the whole team. Yes, he is an *******, but at least he cares about his team. When is the last time James Harden showed this kind of emotion and cared about anything at all and wanted to kick someone's butt? Maybe in a strip club?
