How about reviewing the game footage and pointing out all the Fuq ups that have been going on. We all know talk is cheap and actions speak louder than words. We shall see Wednesday......
They seem to help. 2 years ago the Rockets held a players only meeting after losing to Sacramento. It was their second loss in a row and they were 21-13. They went 16-4 in their next 20 games to bring their record to 37-17. Colts held a players-only meeting before they played the Broncos this week, and they surprisingly beat them. So that's a recent example.
ppls should not expect a meeting like this to solve anything. i expect the crisis to carry on in a short term...
Depends. Surely this wasn't an X's and O's meeting of the sort. If this was a closed door where a few mother f'er, you a**hole, you lazy c***sucker got throw around as part of airing it out then that could have a huge impact. I have a feeling this meeting was to work out some of the behind the scenes Grievances.
It's not supposed to solve anything overnight. You have to address something like this when things are going as bad as they are. So if they continued to do nothing would you still be criticizing like you are now
We're very lucky that the next 15+ games are technically winnable. If we can get a rythem going and hopefully get dmo back also sometime in the next 10-15 games we will Be fine. We really need to go 16-3 in the next 19 games which is actually possible with how soft the schedule is, to bring us to a respectable 20-10 through the first 30 games. I think everything would be all good in rockets land if this can happen. Here's to hoping this meeting makes te guys play with fire and string off a couple 6 game win streaks or better.
We should hold a fans only meeting and decide. I was told to root, but apparently you're not sure. We need to get on the same page -- preferably in the same book. Hell, that may be the conclusion after the next players only meeting : "We were all on the same page, but we found out we were reading different books. Everybody's ok now."
