Not wanting to allow refugees that you know nothing about into your state isn't the same as not wanting legal immigrants and citizens that you know pretty much everything about.

This shouldn't be hard to understand.

Also the French and Belgian. We should ban all terrorist nationalities.

I thought ya'll had guns and ****, what are you afraid of? So now you don't want to use them in case a refugee go haywire? I bet you ain't scared to use them guns on your own citizens, lolololol. I want these refugees to come here so they can serve me fries and burgers, and sometimes pizza. Also if you know the OP, I think he meant it as sarcasm?

My biggest issue with bringing in refuges is that I can't even take my kids to Herman park or a downtown game without walking past what looks like refugee camps. We can't house everyone already here in the city, but we can easily house refugees?!?!? How is that possible?

Some people just gotta play it PC. Westheimer is littered with pan handlers. Do we need 10k war refugees who most likely do not speak English into the U.S.?

We won't be getting the Syrian panhandlers with psychological problems. They have people with marketable skills who can contribute to society.

Texas can't go a day without embarrassing me.

LOLOLOLOL. No one wants any part of Texas. In fact, if you wanted to secede I would fully support you. I'd even happily use my tax money to build you a wall, provided it goes around the entire state.

You have to put safety first. Once that is assured we can do all the humanitarian things the bleeding heart liberals want. But it has to be in that order.

There will always be a safety tradeoff to doing anything. Risk should be managed but it shouldn't stop you from doing the things you want or need to do.

Yes, people who not only suffered attacks like the people of Paris did over a sustained period of time and lost their homes, family members, jobs, incomes etc. because of ISIS are forced to move.

They are the victims of ISIS terrorism. Why wouldn't we want to help the victims?

    What terrible logic.

How about you house Charles Manson when he is released from prison. You can manage your safety so it shouldn't stop you from helping this man who hasn't lived in the free world in decades.

Because they are not western white Christians, they are "other." Jesus would put the safety of western white Christians first, and then do all the things bleeding heart Jesus wants to do. It has to be in that order.

Manson isn't a victim of ISIS terrorism.

“Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed, to me:
I lift my lamp beside the golden door.”

Thank you for embodying the true American Spirit. It's especially poignant considering the French connection here.
