If ginger boy is offended by that he needs his head checked. His nickname is the red rifle (im guessing) so red bb gun isnt that bad. Plus he said hes a great player and a great team. He just salty cause he lost.
Dude it's not either/ or. The power structure is still going to change and they will (probably) still draft a qb early. It's also important to create a winning culture.
Because short attention span people nowadays never listen to the whole thing and the media uses one liners for headlines and reactions. I mean, in that same breadth, Watt also called Dalton and great QB and the Bengals a great team. And he said it was the defense's job to make the Red Riffle look like a BB Gun. Oh No's!
Seriously... all he had to say was, "I'd probably say the same thing about myself", and leave it at that. He actually wasn't as bad as his receivers/TE were... but it was a bad overall performance by a team that had been rolling.... just own up and move on. Crying about comments is just going to further his critics even more.
Scott Van Pelt's response on SportsCenter just now on Andy Dalton's comments were hilarious. "Not that big of a deal" "Play better"
Dalton is taking it the wrong way. What J.J. said was a complement to Dalton. Their game plan was to take away Dalton. They did that and made AD look like a toy gun. Hats off to Crennel and the D for stepping up.
This too. Many reporters see their jobs as trying to set people off for quotes, even if it's due to misleading people. Yay for sports journalism.
don't see what watt did wrong. he probably got psyched by watching the early marathon of the christmas story.
