“It was a learning experience,” said Carter. “He didn’t really know all the X’s and O’s, but he had a good assistant coaching staff that was helping him out with a lot of plays. He kind of let us run whatever we wanted.”

“He was trying to draw plays, and it was like a little Etch and Sketch. Like a kid just messing around… He just gave the clipboard to the assistant coaches sometimes.”

    HILARIOUS

This is just some general venting...

This team is making me hate basketball again....

It's been a while since I've had this feeling. Brings me back to the Yao/McGrady days whenever hope/optimism would build before being absolutely crushed by whatever smorgasbord of injuries the basketball gods felt like dishing us.

Now, said basketball gods, are trolling us and Dwight with a rebirth of the pitiful 2012 Lakers teams. I don't get it.

“Practice, it was kind of funny,” Carter said. “(McHale) didn’t warm us up and just let us get to playing five-on-five. He’d just sit on the sideline . . . and the other coaches would be coaching.”

It's like Mchale feels he is obligated to play the people who are payed more instead of the people that are playing better. Remember When Lin was out played by Shaun Livingston during Summer and Aaron Brooks out played Lin during the season?

Now Thornton is playing better than Brewer but is getting paid far less, so his place is on the bench.

Classless poster is classless. Good luck being taken seriously as nothing but a troll.

I didn't mean to hurt your feelings bro... oh wait yes I did. GFTO. You were wrong just be an adult and admit it instead of posting the same nonsense. You and Dmoney were trolling me just a couple of days ago cuz i thought Mchale should leave now. Sack up and admit it. I've been on Clutchfans since 2007 I'm far from a troll.

As long as they are hovering around .500 the season isn't lost yet, but yeah it's fading fast. My guess is Morey has a number and data which is a breaking point. Probably looking more than wins and losses as well. There is sure to be some predictive measures.

But the trade comment is a separate item for change. I'm sure Morey would rather trade a role player or two instead of blowing up his coaching staff but he might have to make that change first. Again we need to know Morey's breaking point to throw a Hail Mary with a coaching change.

But you are right that at this rate Dec 1st might be too late. We are about to see a very drastic second half of the month one way or another. It's depressing but let's just try not to lose our minds ... Oh wait it's CF. if you haven't lost your mind yet ... Yeah

Brooks was our only consistent three point shooter. He rarely played him and then they traded Brooks for some scrub.

I honestly believe that McHale really doesn't have a clue what is going on out there. If he really was "trying to find a lineup that works" he would have actually realized that the best lineup the Rockets had in the first half didn't include James Harden. Yet Harden played pretty much every minute of the 3rd quarter.

Yeah and I bet you are just a gem to be around in real life too. What a great "community" this is turning into. I guess this is the Rockets team this sad fanbase deserves.

And we wonder why everyone has left this nuthouse website. How many posts has Bima, AElliott, Deckard, or even Carl Herrera contributed in the past year. Hell Clutch doesn't even post on his own website because of nonsense like this. Guess I'm the idiot for even trying to engage the unrational with rationale.

i think it's plain as day when watching these games that the team is lost. for whatever reason, and without placing blame either way, the players are not responding to mchale. they look utterly lost on both offense and defense and the longer this goes on the more difficult it gets to bring back that swagger and winning environment. i don't think morey can wait till dec 15th just for the simple fact that the lockerroom may get UGLY. and besides just this season, he also has to look at free agency next summer..

This is a clear case of someone who is wrong and is mad because they are being called out on it. It was perfectly fine though to agree with the people calling us idiots as long as they were on your side. Now I'm the devil because you can't stand being wrong, lol OK. But the people who agreed with you no they weren't trolls alright. Mchale should be fired now stop changing the subject.

Exactly. It's not just about salvaging this season. It's about preventing things from getting really bad. 4-7 is nothing. Imagine this team being out of the playoff chase in a few months. We'll have guys demanding trades. Free agents will have no interest in coming here. Fans will completely tune out, especially if the Texans make it to the playoffs thanks to their joke of a division. Toyota Center will be nearly empty once the Astros 2016 season kicks off in April. And Dwight will bolt this offseason.
