Lost me last year. He's a good player, not saying otherwise, but its just hard for me to get behind him as a franchise centerpiece. Something is just missing
So the best season in about 20 years for the Rockets and one of the best individual seasons in Rockets history lost you? We got some dramatic dudes up in here
mcgrady's "heart and intangibles"? what/where exactly are they? i've said it on this board b4... in a way harden and mcgrady aint that much different, other than the fact that mcgrady was a lot more gifted.
Wait...you're saying you root for Harden and the Rockets even when things aren't going absolutely perfectly? DELUSIONAL HOMER ALERT!!!1!
hehe, kinda knew you'd bring this up. (btw, where's the mcgrady's playoff performance was always way better than in the regular season? ) but this one example doesnt negate the fact that overall mcgrady had a lazy (or maybe too laid back is more accurate) style of balling. my knock on him has always been his effort level didnt quite match his massive talent level. to all the what-couldve-been's, my smh to mac...
wait, are you saying t-mac wasn't even trying when he led us to a 22-game win streak? damn, t-mac is even more amazing that i thought.
- Harden is only 26 years old. - He was never coached by any good coaches in his career, including McHale here and Brooks in OKC. - We have so many injuries and also not having a good lineup built around him. - oh BTW, Ty Lawsons sucks donkey ass. are those all the excuses you can find for this lazy ass, lack of efforts, heartless quitter? when is the last time you parents teaching you how to walk and told you to get up after you fell down? If you are an adult and keep blaming on something else about your efforts and work ethic, you are a loser.
wait. r u saying mcgrady got the majority of credit of that 22-game win streak? can u tell me his world ranking in tennis at the time?
Kobe Bryant is a washed up superstar, and he is a chucker now, no one will ever trade for him under his current status. His efficiency on the floor is just as bad as any other bad players you can find in most nights. But as bad as he had been the last couple years, he is not a quitter and he had never played like James Harden does now. That is the difference. If Harden keep going 2-20 every game but at least he tried on both offense and defense, most of the rational people will not get upset on him and probably will turn to the coaches and Morey or even other players instead. But that's not the case we are talking about here.
The guy has all the talent in the world. He needs a better work ethic, focus on basketball and cut out the distractions. Less hero-ball and work on finishing/making shots instead of just trying to draw fouls. Just my opinion
100% agree. I can handle losing if we at least show some fight. That's what made our infamous #14 pick seasons watchable. If this roster had the scrappiness and heart of those teams, we would be a force.
My gf cheated on me and got bukkake but I love her so much. Can't do any better than her. I'm a real man, loot at me.
