Can't believe nobody mentioned Keith Closs. The Bill Walton color commentary when Closs was playing was some of the funniest stuff ever.
Nice find. Closs was an absolute disaster. IIRC, he had a few DUIs and a healthy drug problem before the NBA started cracking down on the abuse. A legitimate 7'3" center, he could have been a decent backup, but he couldn't put it all together. To be fair, the entire Clips team and organization was a mess during his playing years, but I'd bet the majority of us would put our height to good use if we were his size. You don't find NBA centers with that kind of size as often anymore. He was in the news recently because he felt qualified to give perspective on Lamar's latest battle. Keith claimed to have made a connection with L-O, but Lamar has never explicitly mentioned him. Maybe Keith boozed it up with L-O and the likes of Darius and Q-Rich...still LOLing when I see their "balls on ya forehead" signal in old clips.
