Harden will keep silent this season for Curry get MVP again.

I believe no one will vote James Harden.

    Yikes.

That's the Harden/Morey philosophy in a nutshell: for every 2 points you score, I will score 3.

Sometimes it just doesn't pan out.

[rQUOTEr]After the Rockets’ 110-98 loss to the Mavericks on Saturday night, coach Kevin McHale said he didn’t feel like having more deep, long discussions with his players was going to make a difference in their so far disappointing season.

“We’ve had a lot of heart-to-hearts,” McHale said. “As a matter of fact, we talk too much. Talking doesn’t win basketball games. I’ve never seen talking win anything unless you are talking on defense about what coverages you are in, how you’re going to help the guy, where the help is.

“The rest of the stuff doesn’t work. If you’re talking, you’re not playing.”

The only talking McHale wants him team to do is on defense.

Forward Corey Brewer said defensive communication has been the team’s biggest issue all season.

“We know the coverages, but if you don’t talk to each other out there, you aren’t going to get it done,” Brewer said. “Until we talk out there on the court, we are never going to get a win.”

So McHale doesn't believe his 'coaching' which should include a lot of talking helps? My guess is they all know what to do, have been talking about it a lot and players are just not doing it. Brewer admitting they do not talk on the court. What is up with that? Are they like little children who have to be told to communicate? Is there such a dislike for each other? Were's the chemistry we supposedly had last year? I tend to believe there is something going on. It might just be no confidence and players giving up on each other, but that would be really odd considering.

This is why Capela doesn't get more playing time, why Ariza keeps getting minutes at the 4, and why DMo needs to get healthy fast. All our bigs are weakside shot blockers, not solid positional defenders. Capela literally doesn't take a single step to try and contain PnR. Combine that with Lawson/Harden "defending" the ball-handler and you get the 29th ranked defense in the NBA.

You can talk and talk but if your coach don't know what he's doing it aint gonna work. He continuously calls 2-3 zones against team who were shooting the 3 ball well. He takes out hot players and his rotations are ****. Maybe the talking she be done toward him instead of always always blaming the players.

He can talk all of you want but its players have to be smart enough to do what is asked on the court I can tell a lot of you haven't played basketball for. Preaches defense even the Philadelphia 76 ers but you have to have the players communicate with each other and execute the game plan unfortunately the Rockets don't have that

It's not the players fault when you call 2-3 zone while will Barton is raining 3's. It's not the players fault when the coach goes small ball and keeps the only guy who was on fire on the bench. It's not the players fault that when things go rough his go to play is Harden or Howard iso and kick. If you look closely at that video you will see that Harden knew he would only get a foul. Ty let his man blow right by him. ZaZa Pachulia is not a 3 point shooter there is no reason for our center to guard him that closely at the 3 point line. Now did Mchale tell him to back off or did he tell him to cover his man?
