100% accurate and couldn't have said it any better. Dude is just not present. He's squaring up with defenders that are set and trying to "shake" them waaay too much. That's just not going to consistently work on NBA level defenders. And of course everyone is just standing four flat on the baseline watching him do it. The inevitable turnover or bricked shot follows and its wrapped up with an easy bucket going the other way. That's just bad basketball on any level. It's lazy, lackadaisical, and pathetic. I hate to pile it on, but James flat out stinks right now. And it's like he's the only one who can't smell it.
Harden gets beat backdoor 85% the time, then he turns to blame teammates. He swipes at the ball halfassed alot, and get beat for layups. And then screams at Capela or Harrell. He holds the ball too long, and then passes it off with 3-4 seconds on the shot clock. He likes to make silly bounce passes and cross court passes...same TO night after night... He stands demanding the ball instead of moving on offense or running the fast break....he was ignored a few times last night and we actually finished the fast break. Until he realizes he is a SG and does not have to be BALL DOMINATE ...share the ball, and move on offense...this is the James Harden we will get, Mr. I jack 3's all day for 29%
It doesn't bother me that Harden cant make a three....... It doesn't bother me that Harden cant elevate this team to a victory against scrub teams..... It doesn't even bother me that he has had horrible post season performances........ It kills me to see his lack of interest and energy. I know he has built a persona, and that character is one the NBA has never seen before. He conducts himself in a calm and almost bored manner flaunting a beard. Everything about Harden is different. He is almost an anti hero...... But damn cant you show some emotion? frustration? anything? Can you stop being the beard for one second and let James Harden play basketball... I don't care about The Beard at the moment..... Give me the college Harden... Give me the 6th man of the year Harden...... Give me that guy coming out the bench ready to score and play hard. And if he still sucks this bad I wont be mad, I wont even be disappointed. I will be glad that our star player actually tried...

This team needs something to get their attention and firing mchale would do that.. then replacing him with a defensive minded hard nosed in your face coach like Tibs would be ideal to salvage this horrible start to the season...I really hope Morey see's this b4 its too late to come back from.. the western conference gets better every night....

Yes 5-21 for 25 points is a horrible game. I don't care about 14-14 free throws. That's propping up your efficiency.
