Sources: Les Alexander has brought up a coaching change to Morey if things dont go as planned

That's my point. When they started 0-3 and lost by 20 in each game, we kept hearing that they had a lousy preseason and weren't ready for the start of the regular season. At the time, I called that a BS excuse since everyone but Dwight was available for at least half of the preseason games, so there was ample time to develop chemistry and cohesion while getting into game shape. But alright, I'll go with that. For whatever reason, they had a bad preseason and weren't ready.

Now what's their excuse? Don't tell me it's injuries. Dwight's played 6 of the 10 games. They won in Sactown and LA without T-Jones and Bev(and Dwight vs the Kings). It's not because of tough opponents. They've dropped 3 straight to Brooklyn, Denver, and Dallas(sans 3 starters). And don't tell me it's still early. They've already played 10 games. That's 12% of the season. And 2 games more than the 8 game preseason which is supposed to be sufficient time to put everything together.

They're playing horrible basketball against lousy teams they should be massacring. They look completely lost and don't even seem like they wanna be out there. They can't even make basic plays like layups or running back in transition. Like I said before, they look like a group of guys who've quit. And the blame for that goes directly to the coaching staff.

Random guy from the street would go and copy GSW's offensive movement. We have zero offensive movement. One screen at best. 3 guys standing afk around 3 all the time. Other NBA teams don't play like that. Cavs have LeBron iso but other 4 guys usually are moving around, setting screens.

Perhaps, Morey needs his own "David Wesley" trade, to save the season. Add a starting PG with defense.

McHale doesn't deserve 100% of the blame. Hardens excessive defensive laspses and poor shooting , Lawson's horrible fg% , arizas horrible shooting and missed layups, etc are players faults. If this team fails this season I can see Dwight not picking up his option and going to FA

 

Which is why McHale shouldn't have been extended early.

Texans did the same crap tying their hands with unproven, questionable players/coaches.

 

Carl Herrera made a thread about extending Mchale. Morey listened and extended Mchale. He's trolling us on another level.

 

Incorrect.

Harden's excessive defensive lapses - easily attributable to coach not holding him accountable for his actions on court, and giving him a free pass for his absolutely pathetic effort on that end of the court. What happened when Harden had influential and competent coaches at him? Say, like those he experienced with Team USA.

Lawson's horrible fg% - Lawson has constantly been on decline since he's come into the league with his outside shot. So what does 'coach' make him do? Stand at the 3 point for the majority of his time on the court and shoot outside shots. How can you blame Lawson when he has been thrown into a situation which has NEVER suited him or plays to his strengths? Again - this is attributed to horrible coaching.

Ariza's horrible shooting - Do you see the shots Ariza throws up? A lot of them aren't exactly wide open looks - they're quick better get the ball out of my hands after I've dribbled for 18 seconds so someone else has to get rid of the ball before it goes to 0 kind of shots. I believe he had slumps last year. Ariza is pretty much one of the only people on this team I'd cut some slack for on the offensive end considering how much is put on his shoulders defensively.

McHale is the root of nearly all of this teams god damn problems.

 

Incorrect as well. These are professional basketball players not college kids. They should be held responsible for their actions . The coach precius defense and they should be executed without going brain dead every 15 seconds. The team is built around James Harden but he is as mentally weak as a dleague player. The offense is centered around three pointers and layouts. The problem is Daryl Morey bought in a pure point guard who doesn't get a chance to run the office. Lawson is a bad fit and is reduced the same as Jeremy Lin Patrick Beverley Aaron Brooks and other point guards that have been with the team

 

It's both McHale and Harden's fault.

McHale; for not holding his players accountable
