For those who made the switch from Android to ios, how long did it take to get used to this pos software? My first 3 smart phones were iPhone until I made the switch to the Nexus line for the past 4 years. I didn't think going back would be this difficult. I'll give it another week or 2 and then I'll probably order a 6p. Hardware wise, the 6s+ I'm using can't be beat. That's the only thing I can give apple credit for though.
At this point, not really. I had the S5 and S6. I noticed two pros and two cons about the phone, aside from the superficial things. S5 had better battery life and better reception. S6 had better sound quality and touch display (when water droplets would get on my S5 screen, it wouldn't respond properly until it was dried) I switched mainly due to the sound quality, however I believe the was an issue with my S5 at the time. That said, the S7 is rumored to be announced in Jan/Feb with a significant hopped up specs.
What I noticed is that I never go over on data anymore for some reason. On the S5, I used about 7 GB per month and now I only use maybe 4. No idea why, I use the exact same apps and everything.
S6 has the rapid charge. You can full charge in about an hour. I dont know how the battery life compares to Apple.
My S6 actually has better battery life and reception. I am not sure if the reception part is Tmobile's network upgrade a little while back though. I used to only be able to make calls from my house with wifi calling but finally not an issue anymore. I did love my S5 though.
In the market for a new phone. What's the latest in thing to maintain status and show I'm well off financially?
For those that don't know and we're debating on getting it, the Nexus 6P price has been slashed by $50 and the Google Store is offering free overnight shipping.
Was trying to find a stable marshmallow ROM for my oneplus one. Flashed one, and it wasn't stable. Main reason I wanted one was better battery, specifically the mobile active radio bug to be gone. Then, I heard its still present. What gives.
Unfortunately. I was waiting for something like this, I'll be coming from a Galaxy S4. Had to jump on it when I saw the deal.
I'm not sure between the Nexus 6, 5, and Moto X Pure. I want to keep this one for a long time, so I'm inclined to go with Nexus for the constant updates. Not sure if I want to deal with an oversized phone, but reviews rave over the 6 vs 5. Also the fingerprint sensor is handy. Moto X has an SD card slot and waaaay better stabilization for recording video (a big deal imho). That said Google said they're coming up with an update to fix that but time will tell if it's good enough. Also with today's price drop the 6p is a very competitive price. Decisions, decisions. I wish i could test drive a 6p in person.
Been using my Nexus 5 for the past 2 years and I'm still loving it. It hasn't slowed down at all despite a multitude of updates which is something that I can't say for Apple phones. OT: Been hearing a lot of great things about the Nexus 6P. I'll probably get that soon.
