10 games in a long season and it already feels that this team is hopeless.

Les and Morey should call McHale and his agent for a meeting tomorrow and try to work an amicable buy out of his remaining contract.

The Rockets are not Philadelphia or some scrub team to sustain this many losses.

Try to salvage the season by getting a new coaching staff. It is not too late.

 

who wants a franchise player who can't even defend his mother honor. barnes call his mother a name in last year playoff and nothing from harden. if he try to run into me to get a foul, i would body slam his ass like barnes did in one of th clipper game.

Every team of mine lost the last game they played.

Rockets, Astros, Cowboys, Longhorn Basketball/Football, LSU football, Yankees. FML.

I really don't think Mchale is the issue I think it is the on the court effort more so. To me it looks like James has been reading his own press clippings to much and it looks like the team is turning on him more so than Mchale. They are not helping him on defense because he doesn't help them on Defense. I think they they are following his lead. If our leader won't play D, why should we. Now if the organization does change coaches they have to bring in someone who will hold James accountable on both ends of the floor. Right now it's not happening and rest of guy are following suit.

This is second game I've watch this season and it looks like either this team doesn't trust Lawson or Lawson doesn't trust this free flowing offensive system enough to run it effectively. Granted there are very loose sets that the Rocket run but it looks like he has no idea were he fits. He doesn't look like a very comfortable corner three shooter. He like to operates out top mostly from what i have seen of him which makes it tough because that is Harden's favorite place to operate. I say all that to say he(Lawson) may not fit here long term. The problem is that he may not garner much in trade value until his play equals his salary value and he proves his off court issues are way behind him.

Terrible start. We missed everything and then panicked and then threw the ball around. To their credit, they tried to fight back. That's as bad as it gets, I hope. Can't imagine it getting worse than that.

Defensively we gotta get on the same page. At some point we have to individually defend too.

We've tried zone, big, small, a lot of stuff, nothing worked.

Time for a heart to heart talk?

We've a lot of heart to heart talks. We talk too much. Talking doesn't win basketball games. If it was a debate team, we'd be in good shape. You gotta go out and play. I've never seen talking win. Unless you're talking on defense. The rest doesn't work. If you're talking, you're not playing. In this league, you're making excuses or making plays.

Communication on defense?

Terrible. If Dwight goes out, communication on the backline is zero.

WHY DON'T YOUR PLAYERS FOLLOW YOUR DIRECTION?

 

I have no idea. Maybe they don't wanna embarrass the guy by calling him out like that. But given the results 10 games in, they're either ignoring his instructions or he's not even giving them instructions and is throwing his players under the bus in the postgame interview. Either scenario doesn't bode well.

 

I'm not even angry anymore. I've just accepted it......life goes on.
