per a recent interview, isn't morey in europe right now? can't see mchale getting fired over the phone
Raptors have a similarly crappy coach D. Casey, everyone wants his head all the time. After being swept by lower seed last year, Raptors didn't fire Casey, they fired all the assistant coaches. Hope it's not the case in Houston. Hope EVERYONE gets fired
Raptors have no shot at a title with Casey Rockets have more talent than the Raptors, we need an elite coach to match our talent
Still switching on defense.. everytime no matter what, no communication, lol why am I still watching this, lol.
Everyone on here that actually cares about McHale getting fired needs to be tweeting @dmorey non-stop. I don't care if this team comes back. This is the most pathetic effort I have ever seen. Tweet @dmorey and start demanding change. With guys like Tom Thibodeau, JVG, Alvin Gentry, and Mark Jackson along with guys with potential like Shane Battier, Mario Ellie, and others, there is no excuse to continue on like this. Tom Thibodeau should be option 1, and he'd be crazy to not want to take over a team that went to the WCF last year and supposedly got even better this year.
People really need to STFU about Shane Battier. The original spineless 3 point shooter and the epitome of moreyball. I rather keep Mchale
McHale isn't going to be fired until after the season at the earliest. Might as well enjoy this season.
My bad. Forgot he was with the Pelicans. Regardless, I can find no better choice to lead this team than Tom Thibodeau. We've got the offensive players to make up for Thibodeau's lack of ingenuity on that end, but he'd do huge wonders for this team defensively. He'd be an incredible get. But I don't care who anyone's choices are. The fact is we HAVE to make a change. McFail's time is up and we must move on from the McFail era.
If somehow Houston pulls this out even if there was a chance Mchale would have been fired a win saves his job
Gentry is already coaching and JVG and Thibs will NOT take a head coaching job mid season as with most high profile coaches. If you want McHale gone it's likely going to be Bicketstaff or Finch taking over....which you know.... A shake up for the sake of a shake up might still be in order. But history tells us it's unlikely they change over the entire staff on the fly like this. Probably just McHale with an assistant taking over.
Most of the time you'd be right. But it's not often you get a chance to take over a team with virtually the exact same roster that took them all the way to the WCF, one of the top young players in the game (Harden), one of the best big men in the game (Dwight), and role players to surround them. I'd be very surprised if Thibs didn't strongly consider it.
