Let me start off by saying I didn't watch the game, but just checking the box score, we played 11 players significant minutes. Practically our whole roster. The box score doesn't indicate we were being blown out. So, to me, that gives me the feeling that our coaches don't have a game plan set, don't know what the rotation should be, don't know what matchups work, don't know what the hell they are doing, and are just throwing **** at the wall hoping for gold. Please tell me I'm wrong and there's a logical reason for playing our whole team.
It's McHale He is just throwing darts out there and seeing what sticks Or something along those lines is what this moron told us
Exactly, I was like wtf are you doing. You don't play the man in like forever but tonight you start him over your starter for 2 straight years when healthy. The man is completely loss at this point. Another crazy thing Jay, Jones was having a damn good game and you sit him for damn near the entire 4th. Lol brought him back in around the 3 minute mark. I was like," are you freaking serious Mchale ".
Same thing in the Nets game. Thornton was on fire and doesn't play much in the 2nd half down tbe stretch. Mchale overplays Beverley and Jones their first game back after injury when they were clearly rusty.
I can safely say that McHale's rotations lost us this game single-handedly. Terrance Jones was playing GREAT and yet somehow doesn't get minutes in the 4th quarter. The most egregious error I saw from McHale was in the 3rd quarter when we got it back to just a 1 point deficit with Terry finally getting some minutes. Then for whatever reason, McHale goes with a rotation of Capela, Thornton, Brewer, Terry, and Harden. WHAT THE F*** WAS THAT!? Not surprisingly, Nuggets go on a run and we never got closer than that. McHale is sabotaging the team with his crap rotations.
he pulled jones immediately after he was heating up and made consecutive buckets. i gave mchale the benefit of the doubt and thought "maybe he's just giving him a quick breather since he's been out injured for a while." but clueless left him on the bench for like an entire quarter after that!
You can tell a team is ****ed and the coach has no idea WTF is going on if they start messing with their well-established lineups that have been successful for years. So you bench Jones for Harrell, a guy who has made a handful of nice plays but has largely been a negative. Okay great, but when Jones clearly outplays him within the first few minutes of being in the game, you still start Harrell in the 2nd half and you bench Jones for almost the entire 4th quarter and go with that awesome "small ball" lineup as they get layups and rebound over our heads. Classic McHale right there, he has no idea what he is doing.
Indeed, it's like he's purposely losing these games. Or he doesn't want certain players to succeed. I mean come on, Lawson have been a top 10 PG and now all of a sudden he's forgotten how to play ball. You wait until an injury to Jones before playing Thornton. I guess he doesn't show you these things in practice. And why did he stop giving Harrel some burn out there? **** is not adding up to me.
Yeah... I didn't get to watch tonight, but I'm wondering why he'd pull Jones too. Maybe McHale is tired of playing Morey ball and being a puppet, so you know... He's showing Morey up, lol
