Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson's super quick release shooting is the reason GS are just too good

Smh, what are you talking about? Curry is not a two-way player. Even for you, this is a ridiculous insinuation. Teams with tall multi-dimensional back courts give the Warriors problems, because they can post up on Curry and create mismatches, which means the Warriors can't hide Curry on defense like they normally try and do. This is exactly how Chicago beat GSW at home last year.

They required OT to beat them at home. GSW also committed uncharacteristic turnovers.

I agree with this. The Warrriors don't live and die with Curry. There are nights Curry is off and they still blow other teams out. The Rockets live and Die with Harden. I'm willing to bet the Rockets won't be much better if we simply swapped Harden for Curry.

Interesting how people just make this stuff up when a good amount of the games the warriors lost last year out of the 15, curry didnt play well in those.

Yea curry absolutely makes that team go. They would be a good team without him, but no way would they win it all.

Honestly, I think draymond is their second best player, not klay. As much as I despise his cheap tricks (I think him "falling" into ariza on a "pick" made me despise him), dray is a matchup nightmare and a hell of a player.

the funny thing about draymond though is I think he needs steph to be useful. Most of his possessions where he gets assists are due to steph passing or handing the ball off to him and causing defensive confusion and rotation.

i think the majority of his mismatches come from defensive's willingness to let him beat them then rather than steph

If I thought Curry was such a beast defensively, that he could overcome things like significant height mismatches, then I would have said he and Klay are great defenders...but I didn't, I said capable. Curry is capable of making defensive plays, he's not too slow, uncoordinated, or low IQ.

You're taking what I wrote out of context. I even mentioned curry would be better, if he was taller. Nice try though..I know you've been waiting to catch me slipping.

I don't know about that; I think Draymond would be a useful player in any system. It's true that playing with Steph makes him better, but Steph makes everyone on his team better.

That doesn't necessarily mean that Green needs Steph, just that he's found an effective way to play off of his MVP. If Green goes down with an injury, GS would definitely feel it. I think he's the second most impactful player on that team.

The stats last year proved he's the second most important player they have. They didn't even hesitate when giving him that max deal.

Offense aside, he plays simply great defense. I mean a guy who can shoot 3s, drive and kick, and play DPOY level defense can fit on any team.

You put Green on our team next to Dwight setting hard screens for Harden, shooting 42% from 3 with 6-7 assist a game and we're probably 8-0 right now.

He's like Shane Battier on defensive steroids that can guard Centers too.

I used to think that you could replace Steph with, say, Harden and GS would still be world beaters. This year, after seeing Klay Thompson turning in pedestrian numbers and the Warriors are still undefeated, my belief is shaken.

Have you ever seen Curry or Thompson played defense?

Do they just stand around and not giving a fork about defense at all?

Curry is great not just because his own scoring ability but also how to make the teammates around him better, Green could be a very decent player, but he is making Festus Ezeli like an all pro center now. Curry is not a great defender, actually not even close to be very good, but you will never see him with the kind of effort level like Harden did on the floor.

Teaming up those GSW players with Harden and you seriously believe they will just be great?

    Wake up now.

Yeah, keep editing away. You said curry was a 2-way player. He's not. There was nothing that was taken out of context. Stick to posting pictures from Instagram.

My original comment was not edited.

I feel like you want me to stick to posting IG pics because you miss seeing them. LMAO. I can show you how to embed them. ;)

If the Rockets changed coaches, I'd be willing to take that bet. Not that I don't love Harden, but I'm seeing this year what a lot of people saw last year when they voted Curry for MVP.
