ClutchFans Game Thread: Rockets @ Nuggets 11/13/2015

Too early to say must win.

But it's almost a must win.

Not so much that 4-5 is not recoverable.

But what team with serious championship aspirations can lose to the Nets and Nuggets back-to-back ... when the real competition is 10-0 with an average winning margin of about 18.

Mudiay will not find the opening lanes to pass to again, with Dwight back (hopefully not sitting out the front end of the back-to-back).

Rockets by 16.

 

I'll be there courtside as my mid-radiation treat.


As vicious as Nuggets fans are, I'm betting that Ty is booed fairly heavily tonight. Even though he didn't do anything directly to the fans, they have no love for him. I think they like to embellish the drinking issue over looking at how terrible Brian Shaw was/is for a young team.

After such an embarrassing loss to Brooklyn, I think our guys will come out with a win.

I'm hoping to get a few jabs in at my buddy, Kevin McHale. If I can tally the number of times he claps or says "harder," I'll make sure to let you all know.

One thing that will be easy to count is the number of times he stands up and engages himself with the players, court and refs. I'm guessing between 2-4, when or if things get tight in the late part of the third quarter or during a partial-collapse in the 4th.

We've got this though.

I'll be box score watching / hoping for the best. It would be dope if Ty didn't get outplayed by Mudiay & Gallo didn't go off for a (new) season high.

The season starts over here. The players are looking at this game as a redo of the season opener. We are 4-4. I expect a blowout win here then a long winning streak.

Is it possible for the rockets to lose this game? Someone should quit the job if the rockets can lose this one.

Then the rockets will get killed on the boards and in the paint again like last time

 

Rockets will not win on road by 16. Will be <8 if a win. And greater by 18 if a loss

 

It's becoming a Rockets habit: win 2-4 games, playing decent ball, and then go off to a terrible slump, lose a game in epic fashion, and then go back and swear they need more energy more effort more focus, and then come back remind everyone they can still play and beat anybody in the league.

Incredibly tired of this pattern. We need stability and will to win every single game all the way to the end.

 

we dont have the luxury to do this imo.

but i have no idea how his health condition is.
