I have the same 3, and I'm leaning towards Blount and Ivory right now. Jacksonville seems to do well against the run -- the lone exception seems to be the game vs TB where Doug Martin went off. I think I read somewhere that Jacksonsville is allowing the fewest YPC to RBs in the league.
Jacksonville just stuffed the **** out of Chris Ivory, although he did have 2 TDs. The Front 7 there is pretty strong. Blount you just can't rely on. Sure there are some games when he's going to get you 100 and a TD, but if they're throwing it like they usually do, we're going to see a lot of James White, with some Bolden sprinkled in.
Standard yahoo. Pick 2 Brandon Marshall vs Buffalo (thursday) Jordan mathews vs Miami Desean Jackson vs NO
With that being said, out of the four RBs I have, which two would you go with? Ivory C Johnson Stewart Blount The pickings are slim for any better RBs on the waiver, so was leaning towards Ivory and Blount with a WR filling my flex spot.
I like Johnson and Stewart. I don't trust Ivory as much as some. Pick 2 of these 3 WRs (for WR2 and Flex) Jeremy Maclin Brandon LaFell Sammy Watkins
I would roll with Ivory for sure and bench CJ for sure. I'm not going to play a RB who will share carries against Seattle in Seattle. Stewart is limited by upside and Blount is limited by gameflow. The projections on both of those guys are virtually identical right now, but Stewart has a slightly better matchup. I'd consider going Stewart and Blount unless you have a better WR option to flex in.
Need to start 2 of these guys Chris Johnson Travis Benjamin Ben Watson Isiah Crowell Brandon Bolden James White
I'd probably go Benjamin and White based on opportunity, but thats not a very favorable group to choose from.
Martin, Ivory, Forsett, CJ2K - PPR. Which 2? Leaning Forsett/Ivory but I hate Thursday games (Ivory).
Don't know if this is a fair assessment but you should wait on others to chime in also. This is Jackson's 2nd game back from being out practically the whole season. He was targeted 6 times last week so I'm assuming he'll get around the same or a little more considering its against the Saints. Even though the Saint's D gives up a lot of receiving yards, I'm not too positive on how healthy he is. Those hamstring injuries are a PITA.
I would typically go with mathew/ marshall but I just feel like its game 2 back, his feet have got wet and the saints are putrid. The problem is he is so boom or bust. Im also not fond of thursday games and except dor last week mathews has been underwhelming all year.
I think I like Marshall and Matthews here. Jackson needs to prove he's back healthy and involved in the vertical game.
Sorry to bump, but torn on these. Stewart has fullest workload, but love Stark's upside and Gio is awfully consistent going against Texans weak run defense. Think I'm going to start Fitz in the other spot.
Also have Lamar Miller and was planning on starting him, but now I'm not so sure. Starks was named started, playing a weak Defense, and Miller is playing one of toughest Run D's in NFL. Any thoughts?
Sammy visiting Revis island tonight? Martavis with no Big Ben? John Brown tough call against Seattle secondary? Davante stepped it up enough last week to be trusted week 10 vs. my other few WR's (besides Odell)? https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CTocFD6WcAAbQew.jpg:large
I wouldn't necessarily count John Brown out, but I do think Seattle's only real vulnerability is over the middle with the underneath stuff, which favors Fitzgerald moreso than Brown or Floyd. Martavis is interesting since he's caught all his TDs from Landry Jones so far. Every Packer should be in play this week at home against a horrible Lions defense.
Is Manziel going to start for the Browns again? Probably just going to stick to Eiffert regardless against the Texans but just wanted to have some options open.
Start 2 RB: Ivory, Yeldon, Langford, CJA Start 2 WR: Hopkins, LaFell, W.Snead, Flex 1: Remaining from above I was gonna go RB: Ivory, Yeldon WR: Hopkins, LaFell FLEX: Snead Anyone has any suggestions? Not sure if Yeldon is the right call but I dunno.
