Hell, call it a knee jerk but give me Luke Walton. He knows the dubs system, look at how seamless the transition has been with Kerr out indifinitely. It's insane. When Kerr comes back we need to pursue Walton. You don't win a championship by playing it safe. McHale has been a good coach for us but the ship has sailed.

This team isn't going to win anything with McHale and this current coaching staff.

The Rockets probably won't have home court advantage in the first round, too.

BAHAHA preach brother. But for real: Walton? I think he would be attainable, pay the man whatever he wants. He knows the system like the back of his hand. Trade Beverley/Brewer or McDaniels in a package for williams or Ryan Anderson.

I cannot but think that this will be an up and down season till a late push for the playoffs.

Injuries to our big men will define the early season

Dayum.... we should have a plan and go for Durant + an above average veteran PF and shed our PF depth that proved to be inconsistent and a tad injury prone in the past

Yeah Marvin Williams. Good three point shooter, he may be a porous defender but we are stuck with Jones already so it's not like we will be losing on that end.

"bev, i'm gonna put you in at the four -- get out there and spread that floor"

"what? no don't worry, dwight will get your rebounds for you"

"who? no we don't need montreal harold right now he's too big"

"c'mon guys let's play harder now -- harder and smaller we can do it!"

    {clap clap}

Warriors number one seed. Rockets number 8 seed. Warriors dust Rockets in five games. That's a very plausible scenario based on how both teams have left the gate.

I knew the Nets game was going to be tough, but this? With McHale, Harden and this current system of non-accountability and defense we will never win. Something needs to change, that's for sure.

    Sweep seems more plausible.

Smh it's not Luke Walton. Golden has better players.

It's actually a combination of them having a deeper team and the system/coaching. If you can't see that you are blind.

I don't think we'll drop that low to the 8th seed. But if we don't either get healthy and better, or just get better, we may be without home court advantage. And that's a tough way try to win the western conference.

Not as a team, they have a more committed group of men, who play hard on both ends, we have an immature team with a clueless coach.

Its simple, we r losing at home to teams that SUCK in a deep western conference. If we dont get the 3rd seed or up there is literally no way we reach the WCF.

there is no way we can beat one of those teams + GS without home court adv. EVERY game should be played like its the playoffs, but we have half ass players walking around on defense, not moving the ball on offense. All this falls on Mchale but hey why should we fire someone that the players "love" to play for? Because they can do whatever the **** they want DURING the game without any consequences. Its growing old and i hope last years miracle run doesent blind morey from whats painfully obvious. MCHALE is one of the worst coaches (strategically) in the NBA if not the worst.

That's almost the same team the rockets used to regularly spank before Kerr got there.

They upgraded their coach. We are the swag champs.

Yeah i don't dislike McHale I just always figured he was a bridge coach... someone to get us through a transitional rebuilding/reloading period. We're rebuilt. It's time for someone who understands that you have to make adjustments within games in order to win. Our small lineup can be deadly in short spurts... but when its not working you have to do something else.

A step close to the Les goal if he is really serious. With MaHale, this team will not go to WCF. Last year outcome will not be repeated. I am saying it right now although there are still many games to be played.
