He had options to go bigger near the end of the game. Capela and Jones were available. Instead this dummy coach insists on going small ball on a team that keeps oitreboindong us. Its not Rocket science.

Harden, Lawson, and Ariza shot 15-47. Many of these shots were wide open shots. Team shot 8-34 in threes. We were also out rebounded and our bench didn't do much. It was just a poor game.
I'm not sure firing Mchale will fix anything. This team needs discipline and accountability BAD, but say you bring in Thibs I think these pu$$ies would quit their team like SAC. There is no leadership on the team. Harden needs to step up

Yes. Agreed 100%. Josh had his faults, definitely. But his heart was always in the game. He wouldn't just stand around and/or try to leak out for the break while watching Dwight/Clint try to out-rebound 3 opponents.
one could argue that we have james freaking harden and couldn't score 100 points against one of the worst defenses in the modern nba. to argue which side of the ball was worse tonight is pointless. it was the decision to stick with the small ball lineup and allow them so many offensive rebound opportunities that lost us the game. if they allowed a normal amount of offensive rebounds would we be having this conversation? probably not since we would've won. that's 100% on mchale failing to make changes during the game. we've also been weak at both ends of the court this season and its obviously not due to lack of talent.
Let him be a Hispanic or African American coach. The fire would be infinite. Morey and Les should be ashamed of themselves keeping this sorry excuse of a coach around. This guy is one of the dumbest coaches Ive ever seen.

This is one thing that kept pissing me off in the off-season. I kept saying why haven't we resigned Smith and you had people telling me we didn't need him. The hell we don't. He had great chemistry with Dwight which doesn't seem to be something the Rockets can easily find. We waited to sign Josh Smith for Mcdaniels? and Mchale doesn't even play Mcdaniels even when we need the defense. Smith should have been guaranteed a starting role with his performance in the playoffs. It makes no sense.
