Hollins: Aight, let me play Lopez AND Barg at the same time. (Even though they're averaging like 5 rbs per game and <1 bls per game) IT WORKS! Hollins: How about let me throw Robinson and Young? Mah gawd, it also works! Hollins: What do I have to do to tank correctly?
The offense needs help. We can't continue the iso ball and free lance ****. Run some sets, this the NBA.
Doesn't help with the no call when Ty Lawson had no place to land after getting the ball. Gave the other team a free run to the basket. Half of Brooklyn's blocks should have been fouls. The refs help the Nets get their first win.
Well they don't have their 1st rd pick at (they traded it to Boston complete unprotected for KG and Pierce) so there's no reason for them to tank.
The Rockets got destroyed on the offensive glass. They didn't get to the line much, and when they did they bricked half their attempts. And they attempted way too many 3's and missed most of them. You know what that tells me? They were outhustled. Which means they weren't mentally prepared for this game. Again, that's on the head coach.
We beat OKC and the Clippers so.... Maybe small ball gave Harden room to operate. But coach can't score FT for you, coach can't make Harden be bipolar, coach can't make lazy team get rebounds, coach can't fix Brewer, coach can't make TJ not suck, etc. Howard was hustling out there, Thornton as well, STOP BAILING OUT THE PLAYERS, this is on them.
That's what our coach is doing. No Adjustment. 20 offensive rebound allowed. Give up 3x 2nd chance pt if I heard it right. Simply pathetic.
Lazy threes killed us and the Nets got hot. That's all. Our D is the problem coupled with a home run mentality on offense. Not a recipe for success
