ClutchFans Game Thread: Nets @ Rockets 11/11/2015

We won by playing small in 4 straight games, brought TJ back we lose.

 

This team needs a coach that isn't a player's coach. They need a dictator for a coach. They need JVG.

 

I still don't know how McHale can justify his rotations. Harrell did not see any PT tonight, while TJones is out there getting out rebounded. The team lacks the killer instincts that contending usually has.

 

Lawson just standing in the corner 90% of the time is waste of is talents.

Lawson doesnt look comfortable doing anything. What the hell are the rockets practicing.

 

We won because Harden played great. When a team this good requires Harden to play excellent to beat the f**ing Nets at home, then you are not coaching well enough.

 

I know it's just one game but Mchale needs to be fired. His mismanagement of the rotation is making us lose. Why did Beverly not play the first half? Why didn't Harrell play? Why did Brewer and Tjones play?

Terrence Jones shouldn't put on Rockets jersey anymore. He's too selfish of a player, and this coming from someone that has supported him in the past. He doesn't have to play point forward on this team.

 

And small ball lost the game. What's your point

 

This is McHale's biggest flaw, he can't properly adjust to other teams. There's a reason they kept getting offensive rebounds, they had more height and everyone else is already getting to other side of the court. They get the rebound, our defense is a mess because everyone is going down court, easy basket.

Dude was getting in the paint, hitting 3's as well as layups. Getting the team more involved in my opinion.

By the way Thornton was 9-15 tonight from the field with 9 assists, 3 rebounds 4 steals and 1 blocked shot. Not sure which game you were watching.

 

Did anyone other than Thorton even TRY to shoot something other than a three in the last 3 minutes?

Rockets were content to let the Nets take this game away; another embarrassing loss... at least it wasn't by 20, I guess

I think this team has some real maturity issues which are going to prevent them from going all the way until something changes.

Effort, energy... I thought McHale is big on those.

 

But we didn't get killed on the boards in those games like tonight. That's on McHale. If your team is getting killed on the offensive glass, either call a timeout and make sure everyone is boxing out or put in taller players if you're outsized.

Beverley, TJones basically provide nothin for this team, every time they are on the floor, the other make a run.

 

So is harden gonna say "it's only 8 games"
