Because they lack leadership and focus. It is the reason this team is not ever winning a championship.
Referees made us lose...Net's hacked Harden and Howard all night. The missed call on Lawson was disgraceful!
0-7? No problem. Come to Houston and you'll get a win. What a joke this team is sometimes. I enjoy being able to turn them off when they decide not to show up and play. I couldn't imagine being a season ticket holder; I'd lose my mind.
when your two stars aren't serious professionals and combined with poor coaching, shyt like this will happen.
Often times when teams appear they aren't playing "hard enough" it's because they are unsure of themselves and they aren't just playing ball. Too much thinking. I don't think players are just out there digging it because they don't give a damn. These guys work hard. They worked hard to get ready for the season. Even if they didn't care about team success, they damn sure care about their individual success. I think the not playing hard stuff is BS. Who exactly isn't playing hard? Name the players. Heck Brewer goes all out every second and he's the worst player on the team. I just think these guys aren't very confident and are unsure of exactly what to do. I don't think they are mentally prepared before games and as a team overall. This team is very poorly coached. And in games they are also extremely poorly managed. Mchale simply is not the guy who is going to get the best out of this team. He never has been. He never will be. It's time for him to go.
Don't blame the talent. Not for a loss like this. Or the one to the Nuggets. This is about lousy coaching, a predictable offensive gameplan, and awful defensive execution. This is one of the most talented Rockets teams in franchise history and they're at .500 with a very easy schedule so far.
Shut up already with "Warriors are gonna repeat", "Warriors are never going to lose game like this". Nobody cares about the Warriors and how good Curry is. The team again didn't show up and it is what it is.
