And people thought we had a easy schedule. Rockets should rip through their next set of games but as have been said many times...they seem to not take half of the NBA seriously. That's still an NBA team over there and they are capable of getting hot one night and beating ANY one. Rockets job was to prevent that. Show right off the bat "Tonight's not the night." and shuffle them onto their next opponent by the middle of the 3rd quarter.
14 OFFENSIVE REBOUNDS for Brooklyn?! Calvin: The effort is not there. They're going through the motions. They'll get beat if they do that in the 2nd half. I've heard him 3-4 times in this short season say the Rockets are lacking effort, thought they could just show up, thought the other team would quit, etc.
I don't know but there was passion behind it. Sometimes it's not about the words being said. It's about the message. That's even been the issue with the Rockets. They have the skills and personnel to be great. But they lack the passion and effort that really makes great teams great.
Am I crazy to entertain the thought that Thornton is a good enough secondary playmaker that we could at least consider including Lawson in a trade package?
