[rQUOTEr]Houston Rockets point guard Patrick Beverley returns to the lineup tonight after missing a couple of games with an injury. But he wasn't at practice this morning, after being arrested on an open warrant.

According to the Harris County Precinct 8 Constable's Office, Beverley was stopped this morning on Beltway 8 at Telephone Road by Pearland police. It was a Class C misdemeanor warrant for "Operating a Motor Vehicle on Toll Road When Prohibited" issued out of Harris County.

Beverley was arrested at the scene and transported to the Clear Lake substation. He paid a fine and was released at around 11am.

I don't like all the doom & gloom predictions, I say we get our first blowout win of the season and take care of business.

Rockets - 115
Nets- 93

 

Rockets are favored by 13. I have a hard time believing they cover that spread, but should be a comfortable win.

 

They've had a couple days to practice and watch film, I hope tonight is the coming out party of the Lawson-led offense.

 

Nets are 0-7. I think we'll probably win but not without us losing a 30pt lead in the 3rd and barely winning by 5.

 

This, we win but give up a big lead.

I hate playing teams that are thirsty for a win. They tend to play much harder and give us problems.

 

I have watched two games of the Nets and they suck. Rockets should win by 20+ even without playing any defence.

Jarett Jack who can't guard even Trashquez (tho that wasn't a problem since he can't hit anything), their Rookie as sg who fouls every 2 minutes, Johnson who seems to be in a terrible slump or age has finally caught up to him, Thad Young who cant defend, and Lopez.
But they dont even go to Lopez who is their only good player. They also got Bogdanovic who is a streaky shooter and the rest is crap.
