If you ignore the trolls and they go away, I would be glad to ignore them. For these trolls we have here, if they make a false claim and no one says anything, they keep hammering at it and declare victory. I don't care so much but when they start to insult my candidates and my president, then I want to shut them up.
Fantastic breakdown. You can see this exact thing happening page after page of the abortion thread. He's not a troll, though, amazingly.
I guess Jeb is a believer in strict determinism? If not, my guess is he'd try to raise good Hitler so as to not be, you know, Hitler, as opposed to murdering an infant.
Hitler is Hitler bro.... you take that little German infant, slather him in Mayo and stick him the oven at 450 and watch X-Files. Come back after Mulder is probed and turn the over off. Problem solved and a billion Jews are saved. It is a win-win situation.
Good lord, this is so on target. I like Giddy, but had him on ignore for a while just so I wouldn't have see his posts in D&D and get sucked into the Giddy Vortex of Giddiness. Like most of the members I have on ignore due to D&D lunacy, I always read his posts in other forums. Finally decided I could control myself from replying him. It can get difficult.
It's on FOX so no excuses tonight boys and girls. Can't wait to hear about conservative financial policy.
This is fun but it is frustrating at times. The reason Deckard calls it a vortex is because my position is consistent and the controversy rotates around me because I will stand up to what I see as unfair criticism. I don't care enough to go back and count but I must be jousting with 15-20 people here and everyone one of them has probably never voted for a Republican candidate. They will twist whatever is said to suit an agenda. FB and major say Carson "lied" while I say he "clarified" his position. FaceBook is HUGE; you can't tell a lie there and have it not found out. My explanation of events is far more plausible than that Carson tried to get away with a lie in that situation. Carson is a novice politician. He has been, can and will be trapped by his own words in all likelihood. He's also a man who even here was probably universally admired until he threw his hat in the ring. Now the usual suspects want to tear him down. This is a very cynical place. I am most bothered by his comments about the pyramids but I have not even looked into that yet. I didn't hear it when it was said or written or whatever. This is a place where conservatives get beat up on whether they are candidates or posters, so the fun is in limited supply. As FB suggested, I do try to consider what people say and engage in discussion. I try and be respectful but I will lose my cool when the piling on gets too high and deep.
Just because you happen to be wrong, and people point it out....doesn't mean others have an agenda. Stop with the victimization.
I hate Trump's immigration ideas. Terrible and off-putting. We need better ideas than what he brings on this topic.
Trump sounds like an angry grandfather just railing against the world. Why anyone would want to elect to elect that to the presidency is beyond me.
You go dig it up. The funny thing is that, as I recall, I agreed that Carson's statement was not accurate in my very first post on the matter. Then two theories were immediately set loose: 1. he is ignorant or 2. he lied. I countered that instead, in a FB post not a White Paper, he made a too brief and inaccurate summation which he corrected when it was pointed out. Simply put, it read correctly to him but not to others so he fixed it. This, too, was roundly characterized as dishonesty of some sort without a shred of proof but all the certainty in the world. How ironic!
