No. Your original post said Texans think highly of their food and you didn't understand why. I was saying there's a huge national influence of Texas food. So, it's not just Texans who think highly of it. And I wasn't asking you to justify your taste. I was just inquiring about more food you've been disappointed with.

Just keep on belittling and insulting people - I'm sure that will eventually work.

I recently cut out sweets and junk food and I have been clean for like a year.

That being said its more for health reasons and not weight reasons. A few donuts a week will not do much.

No. This is getting pointless but you can reread my post and moe's whom I quoted. i.e. There's some people overrating things from Texas just because they're from Texas. I hope the point is clear for the final time.

Fair enough. But you should concede that Texas BBQ, brisket in particular, is worthy of its local noterietay.

I need to hear you say it.

Seems you don't understand because I understand everything you've said, 100%.

You think "Texas things" are overrated, and that's fine.

I'm saying, the fact remains, "Texas things" have a heavy, heavy influence not just in Texas, but outside Texas as well. That is a fact. Thus, the state must be doing something right.

    Hopefully no hard feelings.

The line at the new Krispy Kreme on Westheimer is ridiculous. The drive thru line went all the way to Fondren.

Tried to pick up some Chick Fil A and just laughed at all the people in the store and at the drive thru.

Those donuts are not that good...

And hell, it's a DONUT...there isn't a donut on the planet worth waiting for more than 5 minutes in line.

    Just don't get it

    Don't understand it either.

What was the Central American fried chicken stand that had lines all over when they opened in Houston? I feel the same about certain bbq places in Austin.

I really don't understand this Krispy Kreme fad. Not gonna lie, they make good donuts. But Krispy Kreme blew up out of nowhere 12 years ago. Then it died down. Now people are raving about it again?

Maybe someone else can explain what I'm saying here? I just don't know how much more I can reiterate it...
