If I find the Clintons abhorrent for being disingenuous and spinning self-aggrandizing tall tales, how the hell could I give a pass to Ben Carson?

As opposed to the supporters of the GOP who just believe any lie about Clinton that comes out of some conservative pundit's mouth.

    You know, like you do.

This is a bold-faced lie that is constantly repeated by people on the right, 9 of the 11 states that seceded from the Union went Republican in the last presidential election.

It's like being sore at Republicans for trying to annex the Dominican Republic or avoid entering WW2.

Slave holding southern states were predominantly conservative back then and southern states are predominantly conservative today. It's that simple. The label of 'Republican' or 'Democrat' is arbritray.

Heh... enjoy seeing the right wing wackos scramble to defend Carson by trying to deflect the discussion. After all, what defense does Carson have? Everything he is in trouble about were pulled from his own book or from things he has said. including the ever changing explanations he keeps making.

There isn't an ounce of truth to what you've posted, here or in any political thread. You are pure satire and propaganda. I don't take you seriously, nor do I think you take yourself seriously.

It's ironic when you defend a candidate with the same racial undertones you use to discriminate against any person on the left. The only "vile" you should be writing about is the content in your posts and the constant dishonesty and polarization that you and the fringe love to perpetuate.

I'd much rather read your support for Ben through his own self-destruction than to blame an entire party and group of people for something they had nothing to do with.

As for your "party of slavery" comment, it's still disgusting and you'll never convince any rational being that a party embraces slavery or segregation. Just like no party is "pro-abortion," no intelligent party is "pro-racism," not even the party that I disagree with on most issues.

Step your game up and move beyond the petty excuses and false claims. Ben needs you in this moment. His 15 minutes are about to be up and the next "Shattered Glass" may be in the works to tell his story. Nah, how about a remake of CB4 with Chris Rock playing Carson? Put a political spin on it and show Ben's shrine of himself, and you've got a box office hit.

US News Republican op-ed, dude doesn't know what "disassembling" means, wishes Ben Carson had more "killer instinct." Yep, hopefully Carson drops out so the Republicans can return to being as white as possible.

That's the way God intended it, like locks on doors.

Locks on Mom Carson's face! Did God intend Ben Carson to hit his mom with a lock? I can never figure out if Satan is allowed to do stuff that God doesn't want him to do. Like, I think Satan made Ben Carson try to murder his friend? But God made his friend wear the belt buckle that day! And then Satan made Ben Carson aim low for his friend's bladder? But then God made the guy who was gonna get murdered by Ben Carson slip, and his belt buckle went down and blocked the low stab! And then Satan made people not believe that Ben Carson attempted murder? But then God made everyone believe Ben Carson attempted murder! There are so many levels to it. . . .

And you calling it lying is not made up? My version is far more plausible than yours.

So it's okay for Carson by you, then?

He's not saying he's qualified because he has no federal election experience but he's saying he's not unqualified because of that, too. It is not a requirement-- even today. Check your notes! It is immaterial unless it matters to a voter who has to choose for or against him.

It makes it look worse to clarify his meaning because that is what you want it to mean.

Given that he stated something completely untrue and has a long history of that, no.

    Except it's not.

Sure. I've never claimed political experience is a necessity or even a benefit to being President. Given that Dems picked Obama over Hillary in 2008, I suspect the people that would demand experience are primarily on the right.

My problem is with Carson and your tendencies to create "facts" out of thin air to support his beliefs. This is simply one random example of it.

That's not what lying is so you should quit using that powerful word because it suits your purpose.

I'm all for Dr. Carson getting the GOP nomination, please proceed.

He will be a popular and ground breaking as Ms. Palin was.

Is this the trilemma argument...crazy, liar/senile, or Godlike?

The last one could possibly qualify as a good trait for a president.

Carson has praised two people as a source for his historical knowledge (or lack thereof): Cleon Skousen and David Barton. That should be an automatic disqualifier for any elected office but is definitely an inspiration to sell books to a certain audience.

Huckster is preferred. He had to embellish his life story in ways that fit a certain view of the world to sell his books and get his speaking fees and feed his ego. The life of a regular old neurosurgeon wouldn't resonate among the righties if those themes were not present. And now he is getting called on them by the larger audience that is the rest of America.

He can say what he wants. But he should at least know what he's saying as evidence is correct, or don't use it as evidence. He used evidence that actually was contrary to the point he was trying to make, and wasn't true at all.

After being caught, he went back and changed what he originally wrote to something that didn't make any sense in the context of history.

None of that is super important or that interesting. What is interesting is the lengths you go to lie to yourself and rationalize what he said to make excuses for him.
