Again nothing wrong with fantasizing...having said that I'm not sure what Bill Belichick.or Bill Parcells could do with the Texans current Roster.

Vince Lombardi, Bill Belichick. sure I get it...Joe Torre on and on in any sport...when I look at last year McHale overachieved with a team of overachievers due to injury..maybe Pops squeezes a game 6 versus a game 5 against the Warriors but we know first 2 games coulda gone Rockets way..Not sure Pops pulls the improbable victory against the Clippers in LA.

Next June gonna answer A LOT of questions...I'm banking minus significant injuries this team gonna give the NBA a run for it's money with McHale with Les Alexander glaring in the background just in case...

Only Pop is clearly superior. Carlisle is a slightly better tactically but he pisses everyone off and no one really wants to play in Dallas unless they are overpaid. Doc, on the other hand, has the same record as Vinny Del Negro with a better overall talent (Blake and Jordan are lots better now than they were before).

I actually think that Doc is a pretty good coach, at least on the offensive side. He takes full advantage of Paul's, Griffin's, Redick's, and DeAndre's skillsets.

Because he says it for everything. It's funny because needing to play hard is kind of a given, lol

No, Ellen is much easier to look at. I think that's Sandra Bernhard.

It is a given, but human nature is that it is easy to forget, especially after having some success.

The Clippers fan base hating life right now..scroll their threads...it'll be interesting to see what happens with Doc if they don't go deeper into the playoffs this year along with his roster. Just like I'm suspecting, Lance is proving to be helter skelter already on that team. They're gonna sky rocket or implode right in front of our eyes...got my fingers crossed on implosion with some LA Drama attached to it

Wait. McHale wasn't aware Thornton is a shooter? Was that seriously posited here?

Of course not. No one was happy with the effort. My issue was that they looked unprepared which goes directly to coaching. Maybe it really was as simple as McHale said. The team had a lousy preseason and apparently they needed those first 3 games(and the first half vs OKC for that matter) to find themselves. I still think that's inexcusable. The entire point of training camp and preseason games is to get the players in shape and used to playing with each other so that they're ready to go once the games actually count.

Maybe looking at tjones move makes the team drowsy.

You people just need to work harder on being good fans. Try harder to like McHale. Post harder about the Rockets. A bit more effort on your part would go a long way.

    Clap Clap.

Doc I feel is a very weird coach to judge. On one hand you have to give him credit for the development of DeAndre Jordan and Blake Griffin, while keeping CP3 happy. OTOH most of his acquisitions have looked like a dud in the past years. Dudley? Some weird stuff about asking him to play injured and then him leaving? Hawes was a disaster. They went after every role player 5 years past their primes and basically developed 0 young cheap rotation guys. Say what you want about McHale’s “Play Harder” thing, at least the Rockets young guys get played and they develop. I can just imagine Capella rotting on Doc Rivers’ bench and then traded next year for a vet.
