Ben Carson's spends a tale of black overcoming "violent past", no one can find the "violence".

Just shows the vast ocean of a difference between how Carson and Obama handles character defamation attacks. Carson thinks he has it rough? At least he isn't being called a secret Kenyan born Muslim terrorist sympathizer. Obama brushed that **** off as if he didn't give a ****.

Difference between the attacks on Carson and the attacks on Obama when he was campaigning was that the attacks on Carson stem from actual **** he says while the attacks on Obama comes from his childhood background. One has more merit than the other.

 

The media scrutinizes candidates and guess what -that's their job.

Every presidential candidate puts up with it - it's part of proving you are fit for the gig. If carson can't handle this, he isn't fit to be president. He's not coming across as very presidential right now - not because of all these stories, it's the way he is handling them that is more troubling than anything.

If he just said stories are stories. People can dig and dig but at the end of the day it is my recollection of events and no one can know other than me what happened. At the end of the day, it's what I will do in office that matters. Fact is, I was this and that blah blah blah.

Handle it like a statesman if you want to be a statesman. Right now he is acting like a wounded animal.

 

If this guy actually wins the nomination he is going to get shellacked by Hillary. I'm talking 12%+ in the popular vote. That's if he even gets through the process once the media really starts to force him to account for all this lunacy.

I need the Carson train to keep on chugging along. I need to see him pick a VP. I say it's a 50/50 shot that he selects a character from the bible.

 

Just like Bryan Williams the liberal media will stop at nothing to end the promising career of Ben Carson -- who cares if a few minor details of his life had some typos in print form and he continues to tell these details as if they were pure fact? What is the big difference between being offered a scholarship to West Point directly from General Westmoreland and not being offered a scholarship to the school (because they don't exist) and having never met Westmoreland? How can anyone be expected to remember all these little details? It's not like the man is a rocket scientist with a biographer following 24/7 recording every detail of his life.

 

The amazing thing is that it has taken this long. Dude was out there from the beginning.

 

I walked in to a decent thread, and then the usual suspects destroy it. The thread is about Carson, but so many of you are terrified of Hillary. Really?!

I guess experience doesn't mean anything, anymore. Let's just elect the likes of Trump, or shoot, Carson, and expect the miracle of wisdom and experience to appear.

The Rick Ross analogy is spot on. This guy is a fake, and he doesn't belong on the same platform at this point. Did he really think his past/writing would stay hidden? As a politician, don't you anticipate some sort of invasion of privacy? In this case, Carson was almost begging for the discovery.

Some may say his tales are minor setbacks. To me, it looks like political suicide. He doesn't have the experience, OR the honesty to overcome all of this. He seems like a decent person, but who is Ben Carson?

Hillary isn't my favorite candidate, but she's much more qualified, experienced and invested than any other person in contention. If Trump comes out as the Repub's choice, we may see the most lopsided election ever. I don't think there is a viable conservative candidate anymore. Where is he/she? Hell, at least Mitt and McCain ("My friends...") could roll out somewhat of a respectable campaign or platform.

And, to the usual suspects, it must be cold outside. The trolling and race-baiting is at its busiest for you all, huh?
