That was pretty damn entertaining. Hadn't realized the episodes are 30 minutes going forward.

I was pleasantly surprised with how good I found it.

The story at the bar about the boy on the train tracks implying saving him is how he lost his hand to win the girl - had me in stitches.

What so great about this show or its potential is that there is so much material to be had. So much material, I don't think they can run out of ideas. I love the fact that Ash can now defy gravity by floating in air while connecting his arm to a chainsaw. He can fly!!!

I'm not sure 30 minutes is going to be able to do this show justice. It just feels too short for the subject matter.

Also, the only one of the three previous movies I have seen is Army of Darkness (originally intended to be named Medieval Dead lol) and this series really seems to me to be a really direct sequel to that. I have seen little bits of the other two, and they just don't have the same atmosphere as Army of Darkness and this show.

AoD is one of my all time favorite movies.. 'Gimme some sugar, Baby!'

GF and I are loving the show, I just want it to be longer!

if you like AOD. you need, HAVE to see the other two movies. they are both very much worth watching. evil dead 2 is a top 10 movie for me or at a minimum top 15.

"You know they were Jewish, right?"

Really enjoying this so far. Reminds me I should watch Darkman again, loved it as a kid and haven't seen it in years, wonder how it holds up.

Hey, Pablo, we're just gonna summon a teeny tiny demon. Like a mouse demon.

    I'm loving this show.

Come on people, why aren't you all watching this is great. The ratings aren't where they should be.

It's the same old Evil Dead, but it's been so long it's refreshing. Especially, it being a tv series.

After watching the first episode my first thought was how disappointing ED4 wasn't made back then. ED4 would have followed the original ending to AoD. The theatrical ending to AoD would have also been the ending for ED4 too though, LOL. A bit of a mess in the continuity.
