It looks like Paul Mitchell undid his pony tail before his prostate exam from Billy Dee Williams.

    Ben did it again.

    *********
In his 1990 autobiography, “Gifted Hands,” Mr. Carson writes of a Yale psychology professor who told Mr. Carson, then a junior, and the other students in the class—identified by Mr. Carson as Perceptions 301—that their final exam papers had “inadvertently burned,” requiring all 150 students to retake it. The new exam, Mr. Carson recalled in the book, was much tougher. All the students but Mr. Carson walked out.

“The professor came toward me. With her was a photographer for the Yale Daily News who paused and snapped my picture,” Mr. Carson wrote. “ ‘A hoax,’ the teacher said. ‘We wanted to see who was the most honest student in the class.’ ” Mr. Carson wrote that the professor handed him a $10 bill
    .

No photo identifying Mr. Carson as a student ever ran, according to the Yale Daily News archives, and no stories from that era mention a class called Perceptions 301. Yale Librarian Claryn Spies said Friday there was no psychology course by that name or class number during any of Mr. Carson’s years at Yale.

Sounds like he just likes to tell phony stories to make himself look like such a great person. Gross.

Is all of this coming from the same memoir? I wonder if the publisher or editor told him to punch up his stories; or if other people might have done the same thing 25 years ago. Obviously the intricate detail is problematic, though.

    Not Gross, and definitely weird.

Issue with Ben Carson is not that he embellishes - but that will be a problem for him because he acts like he better than everyone so yeah, he creates that avenue for attack.

Real problem with Ben Carson is that he is clearly nuts. Another right-wing nutjob - and we don't need that running our country to screw it up like Bush & Co did.

Ben Carson has no shot at the Presidency, and thank goodness for it. Trump is just an obnoxious loud mouth, but Carson is just weird. You definitely do not want anybody like him with the launching codes.

Yet... He has not been kicked to the curb by the GOP because he alleviates their white guilty and justifies the parties illogical social fallacies.

I don't even understand how that's supposed be a sign of honesty. So if I'd taken a test, it got destroyed, and I refused to take a harder test, that would make me dishonest? How? What am I lying about?

Also, Carson was dishonest about getting an award for honesty? Are you f'n kidding me?

journalists keep stepping on their own d**ks trying to take out Carson

they are so arrogant and sure of themselves, they assume that because they personally have not discovered evidence to support a 50 year old story, that it doesn't exist

Ben Carson is the Herman Cain of the 2016 election cycle -- only Cain didn't have to lie and resort to tales of violence to score political points.

Bonus trivia: how many Godfather's pizzas could you make with all the grain stored in the pyramids?

If I'm reading that correctly, a Yale based humor magazine released an issue parodying the Yale newspaper with an article saying the tests were lost and there was a makeup exam.

Carson is basically bragging about falling for the equivalent of an onion article and being the only one to not figure it out after showing up. It was more a test of gullibility than honesty.

Bro, it's not that difficult to 'take out' the dude when he believes that the pyramids were made for storing grain by a biblical character.

He should produce his own Christian version of 'Ancient Aliens'. He's a cooky guy. Definitely not someone who should be trusted with the launch codes. He probably has a literal believe in the Armageddon story involving Israel. Why would any sane rational person want that person in charge of the most powerful military the world has ever seen? O wait... the majority of the conservative base. Just goes to show how nutty the conservative base is.

It is all consistent. Reporter said no evidence of that course existing by the name and number he provided.

The clip there says a different course #, and no picture or mention of Carson.

I don't care but there is a weird pattern. The suggestion he had editorial pressure on that book is probably true.

But it's not "biased" media. It's just blood in the water once you have half truths or untruths exposed. You and Carson can't act like that hasn't taken down a host of demo candidates before.

Irrelevant to me b/c he thumbs his nose at fundamental empiricism, knowledge and analytical thought. Scary, scary candidate.

LOL... I don't know what's worse, the lies he gets caught up by, the lame efforts to try to spin the lies, or the way his supporters accept the spin.

Supporters to me. Attacking the media has gone to a next level this election cycle. If you are caught in fabrications, just attack the media. If you can't answer a question, attack the media. If your toe hurt, attack the media.
