Took my boy to the park since it's pretty nice fall weather today. We go there and right away I notice a couple of Arab kids building a big pile of leaves next to the playground where my son is playing. They are going at it hardcore for like 10 minutes. A Jewish girl (dad was wearing a yarmulke) decides to build a pile of her own not too far from the Arab pile. the boys notice this and start taking her leaves to put in their pile whenever she leaves her pile. This goes on for another 10 minutes.

Meanwhile I'm laughing because everytime she comes back, her pile is getting smaller and you can see she's visibly upset and puzzled about it. Then it dawns upon me how this is almost like some sort of bizarro Middle East thing going on in front of me, expect its over leaves. Got annoyed because I cant even enjoy a comedy scene like that without having to think about the messed up real world we live in.

Girl finally notices its one of the Arabs who are taking her leaves and she gets upset and goes to their pile and starts kicking it around. A leaf fight ensues for a bit and she stomps off to the slides, abandoning her pile to the boys. I'm thinking ah well, guess some things just cant be helped. To my surprise, the boys chase after her and ask her if she wants them to help her take the leaves from their pile and build her own pile or if she wants to help them make their pile bigger.

Not a crazy story, just funny how kids can sort out that kind of stuff on their own. Made me feel good for a few minutes. :)

Instead of laughing at them, you should of partinioned the leaves and then provided security.

    Or least broker a cease-leaf.

Yeah, but who was at the park first? And who loves the park more?

Those are the real questions I want answered.

This isn't the D&D so i'll use my non D&D response here. Kids will be kids, regardless of race. Just giving you an FYI, this isn't an arab vs jewish thing going on, this is a child behaving like a child to another child thing going on.

Oh, no really!? You mean that Jewish girl didn't do something first to instigate the Arab boys? Whuuuuut? It's so simple the way you make it, it can't be.
